Just got out of the Last Jedi: thank you Disney for killing Star Wars for me. You couldn't let George Lucas kill it once you had to kill it twice. This trilogy sucks balls. You guys don't know how pissed I am right now can't believe I paid money to see that. A Thrawn or Vong trilogy would have been so much better.

Agreed. They couldn't let the father of the Alliance Navy be the one to jump the cruiser into Snoke's ship? I don't even know the point of that lady admiral's character, shows up and than dies?

I really hated it. The plot was a series of one frick up after the other from the “heroes”. Several including Poe and Finn should be tried for treason and Luke Skywalker did nothing impressive and died for nothing. So sad!

I’m so conflicted.
Star Wars has always been a Skywalker saga. It’s basically not anymore.
Or they are playing possum on Rey’s true lineage to save the reveal for the next movie.
Either way, Luke Skywalker should’ve been the one to bring balance to the force. I had really hoped they were going to explore the concept of the Unifying Force. Instead we get Luke, the Jedi that defeated the two strongest Sith ever, pussying out and then becoming one with the Force.
Nothing that happened in this movie mattered. Nothing advanced the story. All the buildup, Rey’s force vision, ObiWans voice, her seemingly unwieldy command of the force, she’s gotta be a Skywalker, right? Nope. Random chick because basically medichlorians.

Love the story line, hate the way they portrayed it. Felt like they were going for the cheesy laughs and sentiment shite too much.
I had high hopes after E7 and R1, but that was disappointing. R1 has been better then both E7 and E8.

Just a few:
1. Rey's parents - We spend all of our time wondering who she belongs to since TFA and just finds out she is the daughter of a bunch of galactic drunks?
2. Snoke - They built him to be this big baddie that controls Ren and Ren some how manages to deceive him at the end to magically kill him?
3. Luke - This is my biggest problem. I don't mind if Luke had to die to advance the story but the way he went out is my biggest gripe. The fact he used to force to project himself on the resistance planet, fight Ren, and than die and vanish into the force is complete and utter crap. If Luke had to die let him actually die and not use some BS way like that.
I also have some problem with Force ghost Yoda appearing and use magically force lightening to destroy the Force Tree and the Jedi text too.

See this is my biggest issue. Like I said above the “Saga” is a Skywalker story. So either they just ended it with this, or they’re saving the reveal that Rey is really Luke/Leias daughter and then it’s cheap.

Well some reviews had said...all the people who are relevant in the movie are women.

Revenge of the Ghosbusters revolt.
Is Star Wars now full-on SJW? TFA sort of started the ball rolling in that direction. Rogue One continued it.
Will Star Wars ever have a male hero again? Or is killing Luke a symbol...it's over.

When you see E8, it’s wanna be combo of 5,6 with cheese thrown in and trying to go for some crazy ultimate cliffhanger. Drunk garbage traders kid doesn’t even need training to do crazy force shite and all the sudden ultimate powers are beyond anything ever explained. This movie was a horrible stretch

Meanwhile Luke is too busy being a p*ssy to come out of hiding and die of the same illness that took his mother.......Nothing. Not a damn thing.
I wanted to like this movie and I’m a huge Star Wars fan, but damn. Just damn. They even made Poe look like a punk arse bitch, and I liked him.
