That I argued to the top of my lungs was a 5 Star talent. And I was laughed at by many on this board. Props to Debo. Hopefully his game clincher reminds Payton’s to run the ball. Ingram had 12 attempts in a a game that we were up 17–10 in the 4th quarter.

You're a 1 star poster.

Why?

No one is saying 3 star players can't be elite players but most don't end up that way, there are some exceptions but I will continue to stick to the 4 and 5 star players

Everyone wants 5's that just the way it is. All that matters is what they do when they're on campus.

Alabama signs more 5 stars than any school. Alabama also plays in the CFP more than any other school. Not every 5 star is an all star and not ever 3 star is a chump but a team of all 5 stars will beat a team of all 3 stars everyday. Sign the fricking 5 stars and win the fricking championship

When I saw him in HS I couldn’t believe his speed . That’s what stood out . He just needed his body to catch up . But he could fly from the beginning.

He's a guy people missed on because he was light coming out of high school despite being 16 for most of his senior year of HS. Dude was the best defensive player in the state that year.

Generally 5* guys mature early but some reach their peak in HS or shortly after. Lots of 3* guys have the speed and football IQ, but not the weight or experience they need at the next level just yet.

You just proved why players are ranked as 3 star guys out of high school. A 3 star guy is usually a guy who really contributes his jr and sr year in College. There are some that produce earlier and some that never produce at all. Debo did it his sr. year and carried that to the NFL. You can have these guys on your team but this is why 4 and 5 star guys are more valued because usually they are expected to make an impact earlier.

Exactly, often the 'stars' assigned to these very young players don't mean JACK.

I remember D Jones making plays on special teams and on the rare occasions he got in on defense before his senior year making plays. He definitely wasn’t utilized very well early in his career. I guess he was behind Kwon A though.

It is incredible how LSU went from having almost no linebackers on the roster to having 4 starting in the saints division. Good thing the few they had stayed healthy and were great players.

Yet they lose to teams with less talent and don't have the most players in the n.f.l. interesting.

Debo was a three star talent when he arrived.
He slowly developed into NFL material by his last year here.
Debo is a real success story, but it took time.
Devin W. was a 4-5 star and it showed from the time he arrived.
