I agree with your entire analysis on this. And the quote above sums up my view on "october surprises' as well.
If only we had a moral journalism profession. sigh - if only

When Breitbart says you're a conspiracy kook.
Real legit analyst you got there. Why didn't you link your OP to it's source, USA Today24/7 (nice copycat name of the newspaper USA Today to give the appearance of being legit)
YOu know it's bad when Breitbart thinks you're a little crazy

If you’re unfamiliar with Thomas Wictor, you’re missing a treat. He’s a Venezuelan-born recluse with a rich and varied past who, besides being the world’s greatest (and only) expert on World War I flamethrowers, also happens to produce some of the most fascinating Twitter threads and social media video commentary you will ever see on subjects ranging from Antifa to Pallywood to what’s really going on in Syria and Iraq.
Some of his output is so kooky and recondite that, quite possibly, it strays into the realm of conspiracy theory.

Thsnk you so much for convincing me that Breitbart is the go-to place for news and that I should follow Thomas Wictor on Twitter. If you hate them, they must be doing something right!

That would be strange to analyze the page to answer the question “is anything on the page not written by Roy Moore?” Because I assume there will be other handwriting on a yearbook page.
The proper analysis is “Is anything on the page written by Roy Moore?” What does that analysis reveal?
And by the way, there is no actual handwriting expert identified. This has the look of right wing internet baboon crap.

Nice link, Einstein. I’m guessing gateway.

I believe the Moore accusers, but I am not sold on the yearbook at all. As was already pointed out, yearbooks are distributed in the final weeks of the school year, yet this was signed in december of 1977? What the hell? Who has a yearbook in december?
I'm not convinced Moore is completely innocent but none of the women are claiming rape, are they? The problem with this incident and many others are the timing. Dude was in public office off and on for the past 35-40 yrs and not one accusation until he runs for the US Senate, one month before the election and here they come.
We all know the pattern of these type of attacks against conservatives. The Dims/Repulicucks/Swampers don't want another trouble maker in DC and that's exactly how they view Moore.
BTW, I listened to the Hannity interview with Moore and he was far from convincing while trying to defend himself against Hannity's pointed questions.

Lol you don't know shite about signatures. I know more just from watching pawn stars.

The only reason I followed this thread to page 2 was to see if someone posted a link to the OP's story. Now I know why he didn't link it himself.

What are the analyst's credentials? Is this a handwriting analyst or merely a political analyst?

This is sad.

My son got his yearbook 3 weeks ago .....

In the end from an evidentiary point of view one would want to exclude the chance it was written recently if it proves to be decades old then I am inclined to accept it on its face, though it is far from anything damning. Even if it was signed by him in 1977 it could have been a 14yo just asking for an autograph and she could even have had a crush on him particularly if she knew some of the older girls that dated him.

More details please. Age of son, what year does the book cover, 2016 or 2017?

As to the DDA vs DA issue I have known members of the DA's office to refer to their job as a DA in informal settings with non-lawyers as opposed to an ADA or DDA.
My dad was an ADA for 20 years and not once did I hear him or people in his circle refer to him as DA. 1st ADA? Yes. Never DA.
That would be analogous to Mike Pence referring to himself as president.
