I'll be in BR for work next week for two days. The company will pay for my meals, so long as they are $50 or less. So, I want some recommendations for where to eat.

I've spent plenty of time in BR and am looking to avoid the TJ Ribs, Mike Andersons, Parrain's scene as I have been there; done that.

Staying in the College/Perkins area.

Thanks in advance.

Kalurah St. Grill (might be pushing the $50 limit though)
Overpass Merchant
Zorba's
Gino's
Southfin Poke if you need lunch in that area.

ETA: Olive or Twist as well, especially if you want a cocktail or two with dinner.

Checkout Roberto's on River Road past L'auberge.
You won't regret it.

Parrin's is right there.
Chimes not far.

I hit these up when I pass through because I live in the far North where the real deal with seafood and cajun food is hard to find.

Relaxed.

Casual to semi-casual.

Jeans and shorts will be fine.

Beausoleil for modern Louisiana food -- it's on Jefferson, near the Corporate intersection.

Digiulio Brothers for old school Italian -- it's on Perkins, by the overpass.

Overpass Merchant is a gastropub with inventive food and a good, albeit small beer selection. It's also on Perkins, across the street from Digiulio Brothers.

Red Zeppelin has good pizza and a very nice beer selection. It's on Perkins, near College.

Casual. You don't have to dress up that nice. Polo and jeans/shorts will work. Looks like an old house on the outside, but its one of BR's hidden treasures IMO

Definitely do K St. Grill. It would be a mistake to not try it out.

Looks like most have you covered here, big fan of robertos, go for the nightly specials and have a drink in lil bar before you sit down.

Recently tried Zorbas as someone mentioned, really impressed.
