Yesterday. Watched "The Last Starfighter"

I like having physical copies of things that I own.

I do own some movies on Amazon but I still prefer having the physical copy.

The quality of blu ray is vastly better than any streaming service.

Last night.
It seems to me that as the tech advances are made they drop the ball somewhere. Streaming services don't seem to have certain movies when I want to watch them. Ten years ago I could drive to blockbuster and get it. Streaming also has poorer picture quality than Blu-ray depending on the time and provider.

Downloadable music for 95% of those who do so is far worse in quality than a regular CD.

All the time. My wife stops at the library regularly to pick up cartoon DVDs for my son. She will often grab a couple of movies for us to watch. They have quite a selection and they are free

I have a decent sized DVD collection and watch one about once a month. My son watches a DVD 1-2 times per week.

Most everything else is streaming.

However I have started renting movies for free at the EBR library.

I'll get DVDs from redbox but not to watch.

I rip them and add it to my digital collection of movies for my home theatre.

All the time. I buy dvd's. I prefer to own them and watch them when I feel like it instead of being at the mercy of an online service or the internet.

I watched Belly 2 on a portable DVD player while going to sleep in Venice marina a few years ago. Unfortunately it was the only DVD in the camp which is still strange to me

Been watching planet earth 2 4k blurays lately if you want to count that. As for a literal DVD quality DVD, it's been years.

It's probably been about 3/4 years since I've seen something on Bluray. I'm under the age of 30 though.
