This is the headline on CNN:

quote:

Obama 'fundamentally disagrees' with Trump's immigration order

This is the statement from Obama's spokesman:

quote:

"The President fundamentally disagrees with the notion of discriminating against individuals because of their faith or religion," said Kevin Lewis, spokesman for the former president, in a statement.

Why is CNN lying?

Did Obama ban green card holders and people already holding valid visas?

But of course I know you know my point was that Obama campaigned against the evil wealthy; that he is and is financed by.

I didn't think of anybody in a bathing suit when reading this thread. Sounds like you're mind is the one unnecessarily conjuring up your disturbing thoughts.

You may be right, but if Obama can't call out Trump's lack of qualifications, how can you (or any of us) do the same to Obama, Trump, etc?

Because Donald Trump isn't particularly unqualified, especially compared to people like George W Bush and Obama?

Trump lacks governmental experience and that's it. He's a pretty outstanding, educated human being otherwise. And most "experienced" politicians are lazy pieces of shite who don't really do anything anyway. As an example, Trump's high-level business negotiation experience grossly outweighs the fact that Obama spent 2 years in the senate and didn't really do anything noteworthy in the meantime. The narrative that you somehow have to be a politician to get people to do what you want is complete bullshite, and I can name 100 other things that the media used to frame Trump as "unqualified" that are irrelevant, too.

Obama is unqualified. Bush was unqualified. Trump is pretty damn qualified when you look at his body of work and elite education in negotiation, economics, finance, civics, etc.

Does that mean he'll be a great president? No. But Obama is by far the most unqualified president in the history of the USA so I don't think he should be throwing stones at someone like Trump. And for that matter, I don't think that a bunch of morons with gender studies degrees should be talking about economics and the future of our country's finances. Just saying. People these days don't know how or when to shut the frick up, and Obama piled on to that problem in a serious way

To the Office Of The President Emeritus...

1. Ten days? Really? Jimmy Carter kept a low profile for closer to ten years before opening his yap on politics.

2. It's your policy and countries chosen, motherfricker.

Mahatma Gandhi weighs in from the afterlife:
He fundementally disagreed with Obama's orders to kill Muslims by pushing a button from inside a conex in Nevada.

There was an unwritten rule about a president elect not actively trying to undermine the current president as well.

You better go buy a Ninja coffee maker on sale and boycott the nasty Starbucks.

1. I haven't read anything about what Starbucks did re: Trump.

2. There is nothing inside the SB promoting an anti-Trump message (like their 'let's discuss race' program that utterly failed).

3. There is no alternative. If you don't like Chick Fil-A's stance against abortion then you can buy fried chicken at Walmart's Deli (which is a lot better). But there is no other place that sells 100% Arabica espresso in Bossier City.

Trump can throw Obama's own words in his face every time he feels the need to be critical. "Elections have consequences."

Is that what you think a community organizer is? Someone who bosses around members of their community?

I figured it was a member of the community who organizes other members for impactful, positive change.

This of course isn't an endorsement of Obama. I don't have a clue what he accomplished as a so-called community organizer.

Well buckle up, because this WILL be common place. Many in the media will run to Obama to get his opinion on everything Trump does. Millions don't want to accept the fact that Trump IS the President. They will ask every day "WWOD?"

HRC will also be begged by the press to play armchair QB so the media can proudly shout, "see you idiots. This is what could be happening if you would have just elected her!" HRC will be the backup QB who could never hack it in the league telling us how bad the starting QB is.

Lol, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton have shite all over that rule for the past several decades. Obama will be no different as he's going to be the most annoying former President ever.

They say that rule only applies to republican presidents.

OK, I just found this online:

Starbuck backlash

This is all posturing by Schwartz. Notice he says they will hire refugees (worldwide). IE, it might be ZERO hired in the US.

This is like when he announced (If you're against gay marriage we don't want your business). The next day I told my barrista "I'm against gay marriage. Can I still have my quad?" Her: "Absolutely."
