re: The conservative movement is absolutely getting crushed

Conservatives in office don’t do shite. The issue is that Democrats pass legislation to push their agenda and Republicans sit there and try to maintain and not push too hard in either direction. Conservatives need to aggressively undo liberal policies when they’re elected.
But that being said, both parties are one and the same and establishment Republican “conservatives” know exactly what they’re doing, and it isn’t pushing conservatism.

Do you think that the way the MSM and Hollywood and Antifa and the Riots are operated is something to be proud of? Because if you don’t, I hate to tell you that you’re an “antisemite” too.
I get that you’re an idiot and immediately call anyone who questions the all-Jewish team of executives systemically pushing homosexuality and transgenderism on 6 year old children “an anti Semite”, like I care, but at a certain point the pattern of shitty behavior becomes a little too blantant for someone who’s reasonably intelligent to ignore.

re: Theory on chokehold bans
Posted by LSUgrad08112 on 6/14/20 at 10:11 am to Tantal
It takes about 5 minutes to kill someone with a tight choke FWIW. There’s a lot of misinformation out there on how lethal chokes are. That’s why there’s never been a documented case of someone being accidentally choked to death doing BJJ, Judo, or MMA. You’d have to be trying extremely hard to kil them and no one intervene for an extended period of time which isn’t realistic
Coming from someone that’s been accidentally choked unconscious, it’s 1000000x more humane to be choked out and see TV static for a few seconds then wake up confused than it is to have your AC joint separated/rotator cuff shredded/humerus and forearm broken/etc by an Americana or Kimura.
Kinda sucks that police higher ups aren’t taking the time to research these things before they make life altering decisions for their subordinates.

re: Theory on chokehold bans
Posted by LSUgrad08112 on 6/13/20 at 4:54 pm to Tantal
Yea I know.......and you didn’t really answer my question. Why don’t your higher ups feel like it’s necessary to learn chokes? I get that you can shoot somebody who’s fighting you and that’s awesome and all, but why not take steps to avoid the extremely rare cases 5-10 cases a year that come down to life/death by using techniques that actually work?

What exactly is the rationale behind this? A perp can fight through a severely fricked up joint, especially if they’re high or drunk, but they can’t fight through being choked out.
Teaching y’all guillotines and RNC’s would be safer for all parties involved and probably save a life for two each year by ending the fight immediately instead of putting y’all in a position of “ok I just shredded this guy’s shoulder with an Americana (or paint brush or whatever y’all call it) but he’s still fighting and trying to grab my gun, what now?”

re: Should MEGAchurches be taxed ?

Yea that’s exactly what we need. More money being stolen from citizens to line crooked politicians’ pockets and pay for diversity programs that don’t do shite. At least Megachurches actually do productive/helpful things with their money, even if it’s just for show.

You should actually look into the bodily processes that go into passing out from a choke. It’s insanely safe to be choked unconscious unless you have an aneurism or a stroke which is rare.
Next time that you get a RNC or guillotine applied to you, notice that you feel like your head is going to explode from a blood pressure spike, not like you’re being deprived of blood. That’s because a chokehold actually makes your intracranial blood pressure rise (not drop like most people believe), and your body responds by dialating the blood vessels in your brain to equalize what it’s perceiving as your body’s blood pressure going haywire. Long story short, you pass out because of the sudden blood pressure drop in your skull as a result of your body dilating those blood vessels.
Very safe, very temporary, isn’t really affected by other health conditions in the body. Thought the BJJ guys on this board would find that interesting, I certainly did
ETA: it also takes about 5 minutes extra of having a chokehold applied while you’re unconscious to die. It’s hard as frick to kill someone with one

This may sound bad as a conservative, and let me preface this by saying that I think Bernie Sanders is a complete fricking moron who doesn’t understand economics, but I think that a Sanders-style presidency could be exactly what America needs right now.
We’re truly an oligarchy, and I don’t see how anyone could deny that. I’m tired of massive liberal companies like Disney, Walmart, Apple, and Amazon running the world. I’m also tired of our corrupt uniparty system, along with the fact that you can easily spend $60,000 a year on groceries, rent, and health insurance alone. College is insanely overpriced and our educational system is an absolute joke from top to bottom.
There are a lot of things that I’m hoping Trump fixes in his second term, but if he doesn’t, I’m voting for the most insane, uneducated, frothing-at-the-mouth anti-big-corporation extremist and hoping that they nuke the massive monopolies that are forming in our society.

Democratic leadership = dead black men
Posted by LSUgrad08112 on 6/7/20 at 11:07 am
Here’s a list of the commonly mentioned officer involved killing victims and the city leadership’s political affiliation at the time:
George Floyd (Minneapolis, Minnesota 2020)
Mayor- Democrat
Governor- Democrat
Michael Brown (Ferguson, Missouri 2014)
Mayor- Republican
Governor- Democrat
Tamir Rice (Cleveland, Ohio 2014)
Mayor- Democrat
Governor- “Republican” (and I say that lightly- John Kasich)
Eric Garner (Staten Island, New York 2014)
Mayor- Democrat
Governor- Democrat
Freddie Gray (Baltimore, Maryland 2015)
Mayor- Democrat
Governor- Democrat
Alton Sterling (Baton Rouge, Louisiana 2016)
Mayor- Democrat
Governor- Democrat
Philando Castile (St. Anthony, Minnesota 2016)
Mayor- Democrat
Governor- Democrat
—————————
Every single city where these officer involved killings occurred were at least partially run by Democrats. So why exactly is this turning into a call to get rid of Republican leadership?
Not that any of this bullshite is based on stats or logic anyway, but you’d think that someone would notice that black men are being killed (99.5% by each other, 0.5% by police) at genocide-level-rates exclusively in Democratic strongholds to go along with the above info.

They’ve been pretty much impossible to enforce since the 60’s because the plaintiff has to prove ill intent on the writer’s end. If someone writes a bullshite story, they should pay the price. Not sure if that was some shitty attempt at a “gotcha” or something
