Why did Chris die? Chris died because of craven, irresponsible politicians and the NRA. They talk about gun rights. What about Chris’s right to live? When will this insanity stop? When will enough people say, “Stop this madness!” Too many have died. We should say to ourselves, “Not one more!”

I feel bad for the guy, but what a time to make a ridiculous political point.

Chris died because his crappy parents let him sit and play WOW and Halo all day online instead of kicking him out of the house at some point during each day and forcing him to develop social skills.

Is the NRA responsible for the three guys he stabbed to death?

Beebe, Chris was a victim. Elliot was the shooter

Yo, Martinez - your son died because of YOU. You either pushed for or supported gun control legislation in California or you stood by and did nothing. At the very least you allowed your family to reside in a state where they do not have the freedom to protect themselves thus leaving them exposed to those who aren’t impacted by laws. So YOU martinez kill your own son – deal with it and STFU

This is not atypical for the family members of a person killed by a gun to blame the NRA or gun owners or the lack of gun control, and so one must take what they say with a grain of salt. In these cases the best thing to do is to recognize the unbelievable loss that they are experiencing and that it is natural to lash out. I pray that the family members of the victims find peace and can recover from this terrible tragedy.

Plus the shooter was privileged and would likely have been able to obtain a gun quite easily even if the peons couldn't own one.
As far as getting on a political hobby horse, this makes about as much sense as blaming the sexual revolution. The shooter was mad because he couldn't get laid. If we went back to the traditional mores, it would be commonly accepted that "nice" girls don't sleep around, and males like today's shooter or the Paducah shooter wouldn't become embittered over their lack of bedpost notches.

ETA: I thought Chris was the shooter. My mistake. Chris was one of the victims.

Can't the same be said for automobiles and alcohol? Let's make both illegal because those deaths far outnumber gun murders in the US.

Blaming video games is as stupid as blaming gun laws. At least the dead guys dad has an excuse.

Sounds like it's time to use the heated emotion right now to try and make a rash and irresponsible decision.
Im tired of seeing this stuff. I understand that this man is grieving but he should not do something as irresponsible as making it into a political marching point like this.
Oh and..

Nope.

Awful, but this always comes up when something like this happens. Using murders for political gain is absolutely disgusting.
I'm positive they are being coerced, in one way or another, to say these things. And yes, that shite happens a lot but there is such strong biased media coverage pushing these issues but refuse to acknowledge other shortcomings, init.
And we'll just wait for the next one, and repeat. Every one chipping away a little bit at our freedom, to think, speak, act, live.
This is not just a party specific problem, it is on both sides, to control every fricking thing, at the end of the day, they are all on the same side.
End of rant
tl:dr version, never let a tragedy go to waste

Blame the NRA, but not the privileged little shite's Hollywood parents that bought him everything he wanted apparently, including a Beemer. I wonder who ultimately paid for the legal multiple guns he purchased.
Maybe they should've spent that money on psychiatry.

So which organization is to blame for the three killed by knife?

The man is in grief and sadness. I honestly don't believe he is thinking politics right now. He is sad, angry and wants to rage against something but the real villian is already beyond his reproach.
Not saying he is at all right, just that I empathize with his pain.

Paraphrased: Chris is dead from a lack of gun. Your son died from gun because he didn't have enough gun. You should be around more guns to be more safe.
Genius.

Probably is feeling a lot of personal blame, and wants to off-load it...Also plays into the Hollywood liberal mindset, a win-win for his ego.
