I have a problem, it's a good problem but still a problem. Since losing 40 lbs none of my clothes fit. I have gone from a 44 waist to a 38. I'm thinking I will be at a 36 in about 45 days.

Can my suits be taken in and still fit right? Or do I need to just buy new ones? TIA

dude..you should wait until you're done losing and buy new suits. dont get them taken in; buy something new to reward yourself for a job well done.

18 pounds in 12 days? If thats correct then whatever you are doing seems to be working.

At about the 3 month point 255/227.6/225. Didn't make it to the gym this morning . No cheats this weekend so it should be a good 10 days before a wedding im in.

Thanks, will do. That's what I've lacked in the past. I usually do this with my wife but it often backfires. One of us will give in and instead of stopping the other from doing so we will both just give in.

I've been reading back through the thread and there is a lot of good advice.

Thanks guys!

Several bad days in a row.

Went completely off the rails. Ate everything that wasn't nailed down, then I ate the nails.

After a VERY BAD lunch, I am heading into a Cadfast to be followed by Atkins.

Oh well, Gaining a zillion pounds means I get to spend even more time here with my friends in the Putta thread.

I'm not reading 390 pages. I'm sure this has been mentioned in the thread, but I watched Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead LINK, which got me to buy the Breville 800 juicer. I am juicing every day and found it was a great way to kickstart eating better. Some days I juice as a meal replacement, other days as a supplement. The guy has some reboot advice on his website.

Good luck.

I'm 170/152/147

Day 12 of nonplateau at 152. Sorry for the lack of info. I started at 170 on 2/28/11 and was down to 147 for the summer until fat season started near the end of Sept.

We've got so much new traffic since Sensei has been trolling I should have been less cryptic

you'll lose weight juicing, but I wouldn't recommend it. A lot of people fall for that damn show.

Ate really well yesterday, plus I've walked at least a mile every day since Sunday.

Question, is 1500 calories a day too low for me? My wife said it seemed low. So far I've been eating enough to get full off those calories.

If you can stay at or just below 1500, the weight will come off easily.

I am having similar issues. Not only should I get suits taken in, but when is a good time to buy some new clothes? My shorts/jeans and belts are all too large which leads to my shorts/pants falling off.

I am thinking I should buy some Target clothes or something until I am at my goal so I have clothes that actually fit. I work from home so it's ok on normal days, but when I actually go somewhere I'd rather my pants not fall down :P Any suggestions?

I am almost to 250 where I have told myself I will introduce cardio or weight training or both. Never really done weight training so more hesitant around starting that than cardio but think it would get me more of what I want than pure cardio.

I would start out doing some easy cardio then increasing your workouts. I have a schwinn air-dyne and love it. It works upper and lower body and you can work out at different resistances. HIIT or interval training is also good. Sounds like your ready to start moving your body and getting your heart rate up, and thats a good thing.I believe you need to get a good sweat going. Look up what your heart rate should be at for your age and weight for cardio workouts, and start easy. Many gyms also has different circuit workouts you can do on the machines which is also very effective and is both resistance/cardio.
