Looking through my history, my first post was on 1/23/12 to this board. My original goal was 220 and somewhere along the way it got bumped up to 225... not sure why. That first month was slow with a bunch of distractions, but things have changed. Friday I am going to buy a smaller belt, because the one I have on is not doing much for me.
I got one month to my first 5K since I was in high school. Best time at age 17 = 19:03, goal for the upcoming run 25:00, now 28. I have a good friend that just ran the Boston Marathon (finished in the top 50) that I am inspired by to get back to running.

Question: At 6'5" what is a good weight to be at? I do not have any intentions of giving up at 225.

I know tldr and so on...

that sounds pretty good, guess you'll have to see when you get there. I was going for 185 and I'm 5'11"" but the closer I got then I reset it to 180. I think the BMI charts say that 180 is the most I should weigh but it can vary from person to person. Having to buy new clothes and belts is a great problem to have. As you know, working out again really feels great.

I would think 225 at 6'5" would be pretty damn good.

That's what I had first thought. I'm not saying the goal is six pack abs, but a somewhat flat stomach would be nice.

I am between 6'3 and 6'4. I am shooting for the 230 range, give or take 5 lbs.

On my way back from Houston and the two guys I'm with wanted to go to Texas De Brazil, somehow, someway I resisted and stuck to my diet. Its going to be a long 1 hour drive home.

24 hour Cadfast went great. Also had a good 1200 calorie day.

Should be in ketosis by tomorrow.

Finally having my birthday dinner tomorrow night. Going to a steakhouse so I will be able to stick to Atkins with a Big ribeye.

Going out to dinner Saturday night too, but given my recent meltdown, I'm feeling good going into the weekend.

if you work out and eat right that last bit of belly fat will go away without you losing much weight, if any..

You are not to far out from your goal, keep up the hard work. Its a great feeling to lose the weight and know you goal weight is within reach.

haven't been doing too well on the diet front. but, i'm still maintaining and not gaining, which is nice. it's good to know that I can cheat and maintain my same weight. in the middle of my 2nd fast of the week.

even though i haven't lost weight, I have noticed that my abdomen is getting smaller, so that's always nice. I might be putting a little muscle on underneath my fat there, so it might be negating the weight loss in that region.

Just took a resting heart rate of 54. I need to try to take one in the morning when I wake up just to compare.

The Cadfast followed by a good day yesterday along with my move back to my old friend Ketosis have netted me a 6 pound drop in 2 days.

I'm at least back below my panic weight but still 1000000 pounds above my low.

Went from 232 to 209 (last summer), then back up to 230 (Christmas), now down to 201. First one was a quick diet...this one is a lifestyle change. Eating 1200 calories and doing outdoor activity/cardio at least 4 times a week.

ETA: Pretty much made my goal of 200, but recently changed to 190. Gonna keep going...
