Could you ever date a young widow with kids?

This was a discussion at work today. Is it a case by case basis, or would that be a non negotiable line in the sand for you? Assuming you have no kids yourself, of course.

Quantity of kids would be another factor.

I had a long term relationship with a divorcee with a ten year old son. Not something I ever expected but it happened. She's deceased, he's 24 now. We text back and forth frequently and talk every week or two.

Depends on the kid. If the woman is trashy, the kid(s) probably are too. A well behaved, well-mannered kid? I'm not gonna teach someone else's kid not to act like an a-hole.
