Had two move into our subdivision after their husbands died. Both hooked up with a boo a year or two later. New cars, boats, Bolt-ons and pools happened. Both ended up moving into bigger and classier digs later.
They obviously let that cock lead them into temptation
Worked with a girl who’s husband died and the dumbass remarried losing her SS survivor benefits, she had three young kids.

If I were single and met my wife and kids, I’d have no issue jumping into the equation.

A friend’s wife asked me if I’d ever be interested in her widowed friend (No pics of friends wife, or her friend)

It wasn’t the widowed part that threw me off, it’s the kids.

Call me selfish, I do not care. I will be single the rest of my life before I ever get serious with a girl that has a child.

ETA: Def missed the “assuming you have kids part” oops

If the kids are well-mannered and respectful, or young enough to where I can mold them, then yes, I would be willing to date a widow. Divorced with kids would be a no.

Divorced with kids

A friend of mine married a divorcee with kids. Nice gal, and great kids, but the ex-husband was a total deadbeat, and made things difficult for them. My friend ended up spending a fortune to get full custody. It's a common story. It was totally worth it to him, and I respect him immensely for it, but that is something I would prefer to avoid.

See if her search history has anything about ethylene glycol.

Think back to your grandma. You know any women today that can cook like she did? Know any women that can stick to a budget and not overspend like she did? Was your grandma covered in cheap tattoos and nose rings? Was the medicated up to the moon?
I know plenty of women like that - you all hang out with a trashy crowd

Many years ago, yes, it was an easy decision. She was a nymphomaniac whose parents owned a couple liquor stores.

Right - but I can cook, stick to a budget, I don’t have tattoos or nose rings. And I’m not on medication

The same for the majority of my friends - so who are these guys hanging out with?

I’d much rather not have the dad around. I would more willingly date a widow than a divorcee.

Tough call. Probably a timing thing and how old the kids are.

Wouldn’t consider a single mom or a divorcee, but a widow maybe if certain factors are figured out.

Time since he has passed is a big deal. Also, I’m a firm believer that spouses are their #1 priority, not the kids. They a obviously a close second. So I’d probably have to be confident that’s possible with her, and also known that I’m disciplining her kids if we get married just as I would our own.

Also if kids of our own are on the table or not.

Man thinking about, though I’m not really opposed to a young widow, there may be to much for me to get over for it to work. So probably not worth trying.
