Seems like any website I have an account on wants MFA in order to log in.
So now these jackasses have even more of my information when they still inevitably get hacked.

Already difficult enough to login with everyone requiring 12+ digit passwords and requiring them to be changed every 3-6 months.

I don't mind MFA for something important. (Although it's annoying when I say remember this device and it doesn't.)

All of your information is already on the dark web, just accept that. I'm fine with taking additional steps to help make a more targeted fraud attempt more difficult.

Apple is suggesting the following strong password: 13246-dsfsdch+46516&&&

Would you like to save this password?

My core work industry software on my work-issued cellphone or iPad takes two distinct MFAs and a combination of 67 keystrokes or enter prompts to complete the login process.

The process takes at least 4 minutes at best.

ETA: “What are things a retired person won’t miss about work?”

Potpourri for $400 please Alex?

I hope, at some point in my life, I can check out of all of it. Just exist like some people do.

I prefer the MFA honestly. With google authenticator at least, not doing it through email or text.

I have one that I use for both local and corporate sites. Have to use facial ID to open the app and then enter in the random number that shows up on my laptop when I’m trying to access one of our restricted sites. And this app is such a pain in the arse to set up, it’s one of the main reasons I still have an iPhone 13 and refuse to upgrade it.

My favorite is when they say to approve a notification on another device and when you go to the other device it will tell you to approve a notification on another device... I somehow was able to leave an email to their CS and it wasn't nice..

Hackers work on volume. Easy volume.

Make it a little difficult on them makes it a lot safer for you.

May all hackers fingers fall off.

I’ve noticed that MFA texts usually come through quickly but emails vary from seconds to minutes.

Sometimes I start multi tasking while waiting the minute and forget why I was even logging into that particular platform or bank.

Yeah there's sites that require it while I'm thinking I couldn't care less if this account gets hacked.
