Alright all of you Will Wade pumpers. Where are all of the great players he was supposed to bring in at? I don't see any as of yet. Looks like he is asleep at the wheel.

only like 25 of the top 100 players have signed and only 14 of the top 50. I will go into panic mode when people start popping left and right and we still don't have anyone.
The issue is that all the agencts are asking for crazy numbers so the coahces have to sift through and try to talk them down.

Out of 227 players in the portal on3 has given 4 stars or more to, only 52 have committed thus far
For those bad at math, that's less than a quarter of the players rated 4-stars or better in the portal RIGHT NOW have declared their intentions of where they are going yet.

Last offseason LSU signed a few transfers, including Thomas, pretty quickly out of the gate. At one point in the first week or so LSU had the No. 1 ranked transfer class in the country. The folks who evidently struggled with short term memory seemingly forgot what everyone else's own eyes revealed in the 3 years prior. "McMahon finally had the big money he wasn't getting to make this program great!"
Might I remind everyone of how the season went:

But I guess when your only interest in LSU basketball is scoring some sort of message board cred for being "right" in contrast to the crowd you've had to pivot in your agenda after failing to be "right" for 4 years straight

This seems oddly familiar. Seems we recently had people saying this about another coach who was subsequently labelled the portal king by many in the national sports media. It's almost like people don't learn from their own or others' previous bad takes. I think the lesson is to wait until the dust settles before taking a victory lap.

Because players that averaged 3 points last season are asking for $1M. What do you think the best players are asking for? Last season the most expensive rosters were like $20M. Seems like the best rosters might be pushing more like $30M+ this season.
Hopefully Wade has a blank check and can pay what he needs to get his guys but $15M doesn't seem like its gonna go nearly as far as even $10M went last season.
We saw this in football as well. BK's last roster was about $20M and Kiffin had spend closer to $40M to compete this season.
Not just an LSU issue but Without any regulation, the prices will continue to go up. I just don't see how this is sustainable. DOnors are gonna get tired of shelling out cash when the ask goes up exorbanantly every season.
