Nah, as long as I go all out for birthday and anniversary, it's all good. She understood my fandom long before we tied the knot and she still went through with it. That's why she's a keeper!

Anderson first pitch, Stanfield leading off are my guesses.

February has been the longest month of my life and it's only the 7th. The 14th can't get here fast enough.
On a positive note, my wife gave me the OK to completely ignore her on Valentine's Day!! :geauxtigers:

Big hire for CU.
Big NAME, yes.
Big hire? What evidence backs this up? Marshall might be a generational coach just as easily as he might be terrible.

Would rather see Larson get the start and let things play out from there.
It's playing out in the scrimmages. Larson had a pretty dreadful fall and the other 3 "projected starters" have simply outperformed him offensively since fall scrimmages started.
Stanfield is hitting .3

Stanfield is the fastest guy on the roster, way better defensively, a 2 year starter in the SEC at a premiere defensive position, a right-handed bat in a logjam of lefties, and Jay raves about his offensive potential. How exactly is it bold that he starts in CF?
If anything, it's Curiel and Brow

Makes sense
Has Brown or Olynk hit the injury report yet?

You aren't a true Pel until you do.
re: So did anything LSU related happen in the recruiting world today?

We signed a long snapper.
re: If we get a top 3 pick, what do you do going forward?
Posted by sportsfan on 2/4/25 at 1:22 pm
Just draft the BPA and anticipate that at least two of our big 4 will be hurt so they will never have to divide minutes between them anyway.

They didn’t make that trade for Luka to shop around. He’s already agreed in principle to a contract extension
Neither he nor his agent even knew he was being traded until it happened and he seemed genuinely sick about it. But you think they've already discussed an extension?

Zion per 36 minutes this season is:
29.8 points, 10.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 1.6 blocks, 1.5 steals
But when it takes him 4 weeks to log 36 minutes, are those numbers really that impressive?

Curiel/Larson/Brown would be my starting outfield.
Anything's possible, but I think it's a safe bet that Stanfield will be starting in CF at least 2 of 3 games on opening weekend.

Curiel appears to be our most consistent offensive player through the fall and spring. Very professional approach and always seems to find the barrel. I see a higher ceiling Antoine Duplantis in this kid.

Both guys are going to be battling a lot of talented guys for playing time this season, but they will be very hard to keep out of the lineup.

Milam, Curiel or Stanfield would all be good in the lead off spot.
I'd like to see Dickinson leading off. Didn't Jay Johnson call him one of the best leadoff guys in the country when he committed? Or did I dream that?
Either way, there are a lot of solid options and I could prob

Are there any GM's available at #9? By far our biggest position of need.
