There is no reason for all 16 teams to be there.

Especially when one of the teams is about to go 0-30.
Thanks, was not aware they changed the format. Definitely helps our pitching. And if we can secure a top 4 SECT seed, that would pretty much lock us into a national seed. Playing with house money at that point.

That's a pretty cookie-cutter, cliche response to a guy getting cut. How is this negative in any way?

I hate to say it but I think he has figured it out.

Not disagreeing entirely, he's been serviceable out of the pen recently. I guess he just hasn't lived up to the hype for me. He made a lot of noise coming out of spring and fall camp and I was expecting a bigger role for him by now. When I say he needs to figure it out, I would like to see him pitch to contact a little more and stop trying to strike everyone out. His stuff has crazy good spin and could induce a lot of weak contact. He just seems to miss the zone a lot trying to wipe everyone out. But, then again, I'm no pitching guru. JMO
All things considered, I'd rather keep that lefty in the pen to pitch multiple outings in the SEC tournament if needed. Cowan would clearly be everyone's choice as the 4th starter, but if we are in the loser's bracket situation, there would probably be a good chance he would have already been used up by then.

I don't think there's much difference between Noot, Shores, and Schmidt at this point as far as consistency. I'd give any one of them the nod and see how far they could take us. The SEC tournament is a crazy beast. Let's just hope we finish out the regular season strong enough to not have to rely on the tournament for a national seed.
I definitely want to see Ware figure it out, but I think it needs to come out of the bullpen. Heading into the post-season, I don't see a situation where we will need him as a starter. He needs to get as comfortable as possible coming out of the pen.
Spoelstra, Bam, and Herro would be the obvious answer.

I wouldn't mind making a play for Jovic and/or Dru Smith.
I don't trust any organization that passed on Bo Callahan, twice.
I, too, would like to see Beck get a little more run. If anything, to see if his clutch at bat this weekend was more than just baseball luck.
I'm not ready to crown him yet, but he will definitely be in the conversation before his tenure is over. You can make an argument that Nola was just as good or better defensively, and LSU has had multiple SS who put up better offensive numbers (ie Larson, Bregman). But Milam might be more well-rounded than his predecessors. His conference slump this season isn't helping his case this year, but there's still no one outside of maybe Curiel that I'd rather have at the plate in a clutch situation than Monster.
Just out of curiosity, is it possible to get your practice squad jersey retired?

He's going into the NFL after back-to-back 1,000 yard seasons and averaging over 5.5 yards per carry. Pretty sure the grass was pretty green for him from where he was sitting.

That’s baseball, I guess

This can’t be right. All I’ve been reading here all weekend is how much we suck.

Down 2 with 4 innings to go. How is it over exactly?

He’s a known troll that feeds off of being a douche while also feeding on Tony Vitello’s junk.

That is closer than I was anticipating.

I’m more surprised he had time to post this inning. I’m fairly certain he was beating off to that Vitello interview.
You realize the series isn’t even halfway over?

After much consideration, back and forth, and observation, I’ve finally come to the very difficult conclusion that Ensley has the most punchable face on the Tennessee roster. It was a close race though.
