Thune and the Senate GOP leadership aren't just slow-walking Trump's agenda they're actively sabotaging the executive branch's ability to staff up and govern. Empty chambers, clerks reading scripts for 30 seconds, all to protect the swamp bureaucracy and moderate egos instead of delivering on the 2024 mandate.

This isn't leadership. It's controlled opposition.

Time to replace the Majority Leader before more critical US Attorneys, judges, and agency heads stay vacant. Primary season starts early this cycle.

most of our LA delegation is in line with Thune

Johnson, Scalice, Cassidy are for sure

The first 2 talk a big game but behind the scenes their policies don't align with Trumps

Kennedy does somewhat more so but he's definitely not MAGA

Thune, Cornyn and Cassidy. Put all three in a bag and shake, pour and any one of them might fall out first. They simply cannot be counted on to produce when the big chips are on the table. And the next three years will be explosive and definitive.

When Democrats have power they push through their agenda unapologetically with a sledgehammer approach to anyone or anything that tries to stop them. Not even SCOTUS ruling stop them.

When Republicans have power they hold course on the status quo of everything the Democrats pushed through. If it were not for Trump executive orders and Executive branch, there would be no change to anything the Democrats did or do. The Republican Congress has done absolutely nothing to help Trump.

The Republican Congress excuse is they need Democrat votes, but when Democrats are in control, Republicans line up to pass their bill, saying they did not have the power to stop them.

Do you get it now. The Rinos control Congress and they are not going to push a MAGA agenda.

POTUS Trump has got to fight back with his bully pulpit. It must be used very often.

Americans appreciate a hard working POTUS, especially one who reminds them often why huge help has not arrived.

Republican leadership operate with fear. The Democrats know this and they know they just have to make threats and it will stop all Republicans agenda items. Republicans are scared of consequences when they are not in power so much that it stops them when they have power.

No they don’t. They are operating exactly as planned. They (and the Dems) are all on the same team.

Indeed. The democrat tells you that they hate you to your face.

Thune smiles and calls you "friend" while he shoves the shiv into your back.

Republicans are the Washington Generals. Democrats are the Globe Trotters. The Generals are nothing but fake opposition.

I'm lost on this one - what is the stated reason for this??
It should be something believable.

Shooting ourselves in the foot is embarrassing.

It has been said before but Trump needs to hold a press conference with thune in attendance at the table and put him on blast ala Jerome Powell style. Every excuse Thune makes , Trump needs to obliterate with solutions. I know there is only 1 party in Washington and we ain't in it, but the president needs to get the ball rolling in the Senate.
