This is at least three times now the feckless GOPe gives the Dems a win.

He doesn’t really want the things he campaigns on.
He doesn’t really want the things you want.
Just accept this and live your life based on these facts instead of dreaming of finally winning. All that an R Congress is really willing to fight for is their judges

Because the Republicans have become the broad umbrella. Left of center MAGA populists, moderates, and conservatives are all Republicans.
The Democrats occupy a much smaller piece of the political spectrum, far left lunacy. It is a lot easier to get an echo chamber on the same page than it is a party where diversity of thought actually matters.

The GOPe has as almost as much if not more in common with the DNC than with MAGA/AF, the primary driver being getting rid of Trump.
The party leadership is controlled opposition and the state GOPe are completely captured by the swamp.

Because Republicans do not want to lead or govern. They just want to bitch about what the Dems do.
How many times do we have to watch Republicans squander opportunities before we admit that it is 100% intentional.

Because he is one of them.

because he doesn't have a majority of conservatives. We have some radicals in sheep' clothing in there. And only a 4 man 'majority'
But ALL democrats have to toe the line or they will be cast out in the next primary - ONLY the dyed-in-the-wool socialists are allowed to enter the DEM fold.

He doesn't want to. Just trying to run out the clock and become the minority party...
Posted on 1/23/26 at 7:55 am to loogaroo
because the Repubs play not to lose and the Dems play to win. GOP really doesn't want to be in power, they would rather be the minority to focus on YT clips and gotcha sound bites

Because he doesn't have a 20-30 vote majority as Pelosi did at times.
He has a razor thin margin. Do you really know what that means?
He is hostage to every swinging dick, conservative or moderate, who wants to have his way on something, regardless of consequences. Same thing happened in Senate when Republicans had a one vote majority but that included McDermott.
You want to see him impose party discipline, ELECT MORE CONSERVATIVES.

You have no idea what Mike Johnson wants. He’s 100% inline with TRUMP. He’s dealing with several shithead rino’s that can’t be reeled in with no wiggle -room majority. If there were 50 Mike Johnson’s in the House, non of this Bulll Shiit would be happening.

Because he’s a pussy beholden to Deep State interests

Republicans including Trump can't seem to speak for 30 seconds without mentioning Biden or the Democrats.
Democrats have 10-20 year plans. Republicans have 2-year plans and try to lose midterms on purpose.
