Way too early top 25
ESPN released their “Way Too Early Top 25” and has us at 15 but mentioned that we landed Princewell in the body text. Apologies if I missed the announcement but I didn’t see that as official anywhere else but this article.

I think if we finish 15th with the money we spent on players and staff for next season, it would be a disappointment.

I think this kid will pull the unenroll from OM and go where he wants to, if it comes to that. The buyout of his contract is reasonable.

When you said ESPN I automatically knew whatever you said was total bullshite . The best thing they could do was to bow out to any recruit rankings or team rankings because they’re so horrible.

Pretty much our entire offense has never even played together, especially the offensive line.
The vast majority of them have no experience in this offense.

I agree with you on this..on paper yes but they still have to mesh well amongst a million other things. Paper means nothing, you have to do the things to be a top 5 team and there is virtually no continuity on the offensive side of the ball and some pretty hefty continuity changes on the defensive side too

I wanna start in the top 15-20 personally. Make them prove they belong in the top 10, talent dont mean a thing if you cant produce(I think we absolutely will, but still think the team should have to earn it)

Lane built LSU to compete, we have experienced guys every where now. Sam Leavitt is our QB. We will see how this team chemistry comes together a lot of new parts but if it bonds together playoffs should be expected

Expectations are gonna be through the roof. Im all for it but boy if things go bad this place will go bananas. And the media pounding will be tough to bear. With great hope comes greater expectations. Lane asked for this and now we wait and see. Its sure as hell been fun watching him build though. The excitement around the program is palpable.
