Seeing as how this team doesn’t have Joe Sloan anymore and you basically have a running backs coach in Wilson, an offensive line coaches in Atkins and Davis and a failed recievers coach in Hankton as your offensive brain trust why effing wait?? Kiffin has a whole month of bowl practice and can easily let Wilson coach the team but start installing his offensive concepts and just start calling plays in the bowl game from the booth or something!! Time is short in spring and fall practices so if we’re all about giving players the best opportunities then why not? Probably might also prevent some of these talented receivers and skill guys from leaving too because another month of running this putrid offense is probably reinforcing bad habits anyway.

I’m in my 60s and feeling young again!! Kiffin is already getting so many things done in a short amount of time it’s obvious to me he’s really hitting his stride as a coach and Verge dude… your the leader this Athletic department needs after Woodward moved on!!!

Why post less? He’s right! We kickin arse and taking names next year! Kiffins decisions and recruiting already are impressive to me as this guy is moving fast and getting everything that has been wrong at LSU fixed. Granted it’s still a work in progress but retaining baker was absolutely crucial because next year isn’t a readjustment of players to a new coach or system which takes time while your losing but it’s building on year 3 of your defense!! Huge!!!!!

Brice Brown who was Franks protege and who gives a lot of credit to him for being one of his most important mentors will have 15!!! That’s right!! 15 of HIS PLAYERS sign major college football scholarships today at Edna Carr HS!!! One School 15 Kids!! The Defense Rests!!!

Whoa Nelly!! Kiffin can Screw up here big time!! If Baker leaves if Frank Wilson is not retained those are very destabilizing to the momentum that has been built up. You can’t get rid of your best recruiter and the architect of this defensive resurgence and not have a major disruption of your program! Who is out there right now that can even replace Baker? NO ONE!! Frank Wilson is in lock step with every major talent producing high school in the state!! Screw a Kevin Smith! Who the hell is he?
