Despite Will Campbell's rough outing in the Super Bowl this past Sunday, Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel said Tuesday that they are sticking with the former LSU lineman at left tackle.

Campbell struggled in pass protection vs. the Seahawks, giving up 14 pressures of quarterback Drake Maye, and had a false start penalty.

Maye, who wasn't playing at 100 percent, took six sacks, threw two interceptions, and lost a fumble in the loss.

Campbell suffered a knee ligament tear during a Week 12 win against the Bengals, which caused him to miss over a month. He returned in Week 18, but he was not at 100 percent for the playoffs.

The bottomline is this, he was the starting LT for his team until he got hurt. Came back from injury and his team got to the Superbowl. He struggled against some of the best of the best, but has his whole career ahead of him. Will will be fine!

Every single starter on that line struggled mightily

Seattle's defensive line was committing war crimes against that o-line.

I watched him all year and he was getting better each week. That knee injury sucked but he really struggled against elite rushers down the stretch. Which is pretty common for rookies.

I hope Blake Baker studies that Seahawks D.

If he can wave a wand and make our front four get constant and consistent pressure, the championship is ours.

I think BB had our D humming last season, and he should have it even better this upcoming ssason.

I hope he'll be ok but he looked really really bad against the elite pass rushers

NE should have used a TE to help chip block the DE on that side. Bad coaching. A OT that was injured and they didn't give him any help, that is on the coach.

He'd be better suited to play guard. What was their record with him out? Just seems small to me and lost alot of those "fist fights". He's young and the jury is out.

A rookie against Demarcus Lawrence. Yeah I’m
Not gonna jump on him. If he’s doing the same thing 3 years from now then make a negative comment.

First OLineman picked in the draft. Every NFL team would want him on their team. His resume speaks for itself. Injury and playing injured is a part of the game. He gave it all he had, while being hurt. The pundits can go to hell with the criticism.

The first part of your comment is correct, but the last part is stupid. Yes he was injured, but that doesn’t mean you then get a free pass from criticism. He literally gave up the most pressures in a game (regular or post season) of any player this entire season, and it was in the Super Bowl. It would be absurd of pundits not to speak on that.

Dude still looks small for a LT imo. Needs some more bulk

He sucks right now, and it was NOT his health. Week 12 to now is basically 8+weeks. He's healthy, period

He was hurt in week 12, missed 6 weeks and returned because his team was primed for a Super Bowl run being the #1 seed. He definitely struggled but let’s not act like everyone is 100% at this point of the year.
You can tell he was not able to stand ground out there. This helps him though, nothing wrong with failing.

That’s a stupid assessment. You don’t just snap back from a knee injury especially since you started back playing 4 weeks after injury. His team made it to the SB with him playing. I say he did pretty good
