Baton Rouge interstate - left lane is for driving slow in order to avoid people merging from on ramps.

I always wonder if those frickers who hang out in the left lane feel like they are regulating traffic speed or are just so fricking self-centered and inconsiderate as to actually not care about any other drivers.
And it aint limited to the interstate. North Airline Hwy drivers at quitting time have zero sense of urgency or awareness of others.

A $164 ticket seems a little steep, but glad to see someone is enforcing this.

support. My biggest pet peeve on the interstate is being stuck behind an 18 wheeler in the right lane with some slow arse prick in the left lane that refuses to pass clogging up the highway for miles.

Around here the left lane is designated for black females.

And yet, somehow, your auto insurance company will find a way to increase your premiums even for going too slow on the interstate.
They are conscientious like that---------------------farging iceholes.

Problem is there’s also a lot of assholes that will speed up in the right lane as soon as you try to pass them.

The only people who care about this are the ones going 100 mph in the left lane and never get into the right lane.
It's their personal NASCAR lane and you better no be in it. Rubbing IS racing BAW....

Not at all. Revoking their license seems more appropriate. Some people actually said in the video "I didnt know that".
You don't know the driving laws in your state? Take their license away. The $164 should be a cherry on top for having 0 awareness and putting others at risk.
Maybe that's a little harsh. Give them a $300 fine and a warning. Then revoke their license the 2nd time.

Found the person who goes under the speed limit in the left lane

Not steep enough. Death for repeat offenders.

Passing lane. Period. I may be going the limit while passing a guy doing 60. I don't camp. I pass and get back in lane. If I'm doing 100 in the left, and you're going 85, you need to move over because I want to pass you. Simple math really.

I've seen more people going 90mph get over for someone going 100mph vs someone getting over going under the speed limit on an open road.
The large majority of people who drive fast have a higher sense of awareness on the road along with confidence.
The people getting pissed are the ones who drive fast and still get over. Slow drivers think because they drive slow it automatically means "safe" and that they can just do whatever.
2 drivers who go over the speed limit are going to get out of each others way faster and more efficiently than (1) driver going over the speed limit and (1) slow driver.

That.. And you are in the left lane trying to get over and a car is passing you on the right... He finally does.. and then the car behind him decides he wants to be Mario Spaghetti and he jumps into the right lane and tries to pass you.. Thereby BLOCKING the right lane AGAIN.
You KNOW who you are.
I mean that little flashing light on the back of my car on the right side... Well it's not flashing Christmas lights buddy

Nah, slow left laners are a real problem. Here’s a for instance. Semi in the right lane, a left laner is creeping past it at .05 mph more than the truck. Meanwhile, people are stacking up behind her that need to get by. I’m two behind the creeper, keeping a few car lengths distance from the guy in front of me. a-hole in a truck thinks he’s gonna squeeze in my cushion from the right, I have to box him out, pinning him behind the semi. Finally, the creeper gets over, and there’s a dozen cars rushing to get past the semi. The creeper bottlenecked traffic for 15-20 minutes, 20 miles or so, putting people in peril. Get over, better yet, don’t get on the highway at all.
