$3M for a coordinator is crazy ridiculous money. Our society is really fricked up to value fricking football to this level.

But we going to da ‘ship!!!

If he is a big part of getting another NC to LSU, then its money well spent. NC is worth lots and lots of $$ to the university in all sorts of ways

Lots of short memories here. Back when LSU paid Little Nicky $1.5 M, football lost its mind .It's all about money now, especially since agents can operate out in the open today.

It’s insanity. But if these stupid rich people want to fork out cash for football coaches and I get to enjoy LSU dominate, I’m here for it!

Just makes me think I really chose the wrong career path

I wonder if the money becomes so good that truly elite tacticians on either side just say frick it why be a HC?

I get a lot of these guys want the control and what not but at some point if a guy has a family, a good situation, and is considered elite on one side of the ball one would think these jobs would become highly valued for that kind of money instead of the roller coaster pressure cooker of being a HC.

I was saying earlier this week that LSU was going to make an offer to Baker that he couldn’t refuse. My sauce kept telling me north of 5 mil and then I sat back and thought about how ridiculous that number was and realized he was trolling me but the insane offer was still true.

Another reason CFB has jumped the shark as it relates to its fans.

It’s not if, but when ticket prices continue to increase and it’s all corporate ticket allocation.

3M?!!!

Wait until you see Hollywood actors putting in fewer hours for more money - for our entertainment.

Makes me appreciate football.

…But then the shootings on campus (and surrounding a large portion of campus) and the general dumpster fire of baton rouge politics/traffic/crime kill any tangible benefit to the fans.

They sure don’t think twice about raising those ticket prices tho

Not really sure he is worth all that. There are way too many soft zone that annoys the hell out me on 3rd downs. He is not bad but not as great as that contract

Anyone know the term length of the contract? I know that there are escalators in the contract that trigger extensions but what is the initial term length?

It's all about the bag now and hey we obvious got some bags and I am not hating it. Screw it Ohio St, Alabama, and Georgia have been handing out bags way before the NIL started so why not us now.

When Saban had Bama winning championships, that school was rolling in cash, enrollment, brand new buildings being built, etc

Win and money flows everywhere. Well spent to this point.
