Why do hunters that strictly hunt from blinds wear camouflage?

Because Camo is cool AF

I keep all my camo scent free. Prefer to wear it when possible even if sitting in a box that way I don’t stink the place up on the walk in

I usually wear jeans and a camo shirt or jacket
But I have gone straight from work and rolled up to the stand in casual clothes
In an enclosed box stand it really doesn't matter, but I think dressing the part is part of the hunting experience

Cus they “sik” for it !!!
I wear my premium hunting clothes in a blind if I hunt one. I used to make fun of premium hunting clothes but the features they have (hip vents, pit vents, goretex, merino wool and down) are worth it if you spend enough time in the woods.
The cost of those products even if not hunting companies is the same a hunting company without some of the hunter specific features.

I bust my way through the woods, taking out branches and vines and plenty of thorns and wet things and climbing trees. Hunting clothes are made for that and I'd rather them take the beating than my other clothes. I guess I don't hunt in blinds except the popup with a kid, but those who do might have similar hikes to and from, and then tracking a shot deer you can get through worse.

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t

Because very few only hunt from blinds. They may also bow hunt, turkey hunt, and duck hunt.

I kill a lot of critters and got tired of getting blood on my jeans and T-shirts. Started wearing my bow hunting camo full time. I also have several bow setups in thick brush that I may hunt while I’m there, and only have so much room to pack clothes. I pack enough clothes in camo so I can hunt where I want, and not worry about it. Then there’s the times where I’ll brush in without a blind, and rattle during the rut, or try and put on a spot and stalk on a Nilgai.
95% of the time I’m hunting a box blind though

camo is the most over rated part of hunting.

It’s the warmest clothes I own

Because they are my hunting/fishing clothes…..
Don’t really want to get blood and guts on my Sunday best……or rip up good clothes going through briars, etc

You gotta get that Big Buddy heater rolling once you close the door on your Redneck blind bro

Gear today is more about looking and feeling good and primarily for convenience. At least primarily for me, a 35-year-old baw.
Do I NEED the Sitka tool belt? No. Do I think it looks cool, is practical for what I’d use it for AND would actually come in handy down the road if I do a guided trek hunt.

I only do it because the warmest clothing that I own is camo. If the weather is warm I'm in cargo shorts and a tshirt.

My buddy heater doesn’t care what color clothes I have on baw!

lol when I hunted MO one of my buddies was dressed like an Eskimo and had his buddy heater and two bottles. It was 17deg and I had one two layers and had my down puffies in my day pack.
A down puffy on sale is 200$ if it last ten years (mine is on five ) and I use it ten times a year a year then it’s 2$ a use. Hot hands are 1$ a piece and propane is 10$ a bottle.
People who laugh at premium clothes do not know how to operate a calculator or understand ROI
