Is it just me or do the Frank rumors just not add up?

I don’t pay for the insider boards so not sure where those guys get their info, if that is indeed the source, but not much of this story makes sense.
Actively sabotaging his employer would make him virtually unhirable anywhere else. As far as his value as a recruiter, programs surely know by now that “who you know” is much less valuable than “how big the bag is.”
Does it not make more sense that these recruits are just more likely waiting for the staff to finalize itself while leveraging better deals for themselves? Or am I thinking too critically about this?

Coaches who literally killed people keep jobs and get better ones.
Coaches will rationalize it by saying this is a function of a coaching change and the only way that happens to their team is if they get fired so frick it

But I have my doubts that he’ll be retained.

The truth is usually elusive in these situations. It’s different people giving their perspective and their opinions. We are getting it all second and third hand.

If anything these recruits are renegotiating. All they have heard is home much money we throwing around. Why not ask for more. Lane and his staff are getting it and they said our portal package is 50 million. He show me how much you really want me

Why does it not add up?
Frank sucks as a coach and is mediocre as a recruiter (despite what people claim).
He uses his political connections to the football coaches in NOLA as leverage and continually still loses top tier NOLA talent.
Add in that he makes nearly every running back he has coached regress and you wonder why a coach would not want to keep him?
Guy is an albatross on the program at this point and if you want to change the culture, he is a big part of it.

Kiffin was not the one giving ultimatums to the Ole Miss staff, their AD was. The AD and his bots were the ones claiming Kiffin did it to try and salvage this mess and made it worse.
If he was sabotaging them, he would not let his OC go back and coach them in the playoff.

They don't to anyone with half of a brain. All it would take would be for one recruit to call Kiffin and tell him what's going on and boom. Frank's fired for cause, and is done in the college ranks. I know it's done sometimes when a coach knows he's leaving, but as far as I know, Frank hasn't veen told he won't be retained. I'm going to say that the rumors are just that, unsubstantiated rumors.

So apparently the recruits were led to believe Frank would be on staff and now that it’s uncertain they want to wait and see. Frank didn’t sabotage anything. They just felt like they may have been lied to about the one coach they were the closest with. I really hope lane is able to find a position to keep Frank
