I promise you this will be the worst FG attempt you have ever seen. Period.

It's a rush, not a FG attempt. Go look at the box score.
He never made contact with the ball so it's not an attempt.

I've never seen a kicker develop the yips quite like Koo has over the last couple of years.
He was a sniper and then suddenly forgot everything about kicking.

I saw it, my husband missed it and asked why I was laughing. I couldn't explain it, having seen it again, I still can't. Thank you for the pictures -

Pretty sure he aborted the kick at that last second because slow- mo replay shows the holder losing the ball and then regaining the hold as the kicker was already halfway through his kicking motion.
So on purpose, is what I'ms told.

That’s what it looks like to me also, but once he stops he doesn’t look at the holder so idk. What down was it? Not sure why he didn’t just try to kick it even with a bad hold unless it was say 3rd down

Isaac Punts did a breakdown of what he thought happened. BTW a good follow if you are interested in college/pro ST content.

He stated he bailed on the kick because of the hold. The hold was clearly bad in the replay. Unfortunate for him it will be shown forever as a screw up on his part. In fairness, if he ended up kicking it into the line it could have been an even worse result. It may been returned for a score or much better field position. The holder then got murdered for the failure on the hold.
His one saving grace is that Mcafee is the most popular talk show host out there and he is a former kicker. He will most likely take up for him in the media and put it on the holder. We will have to see.

This reminds me of my Golf chipping…… I get more turf than ball!

I think I've seen this one other time back when I was a kid. I think this happened to a Tampa kicker in the late 70s

It was odd though because holders get the ball in position or kind of bobble it all the time but the kicker just commits and get the kick off. The slow motion showed that the holder ended up getting the ball in a decent position by the time Koo would have kicked it. Dude should have just let it fly.
Still, my old hoe bad, but my young hoe koo.

Do holders traditionally use two fingers, one on each side of the point of the ball, when holding for FG attempt?

You can take the player away from the Falcons, but you can never take the Falcons away from the player.

That isn’t even top 1,000 for the worst holds I have seen
He actually got the ball into position . Thats kinda a horseshite excuse for the abortion of a “kick” he had
