Was on every open job’s short list (seemingly). Ends up signing an extension, but says didn’t interview with anyone.

I think he did interview elsewhere, but basically got rejected as a candidate.

His agent was talking to teams so “he” didn’t interview. Clearly, there was some interest to get a new deal done before December

He priced himself out of all of them

No one’s paying $13m for his resume

How so? He was making $9m before the yr before the extension? You’d make him the 2nd or 3rd highest paid coach in the sec?

He got an extension to 10.7 million a year, which for him seems insane.

But that is where the market is heading for any coach

How good would Missouri be without the squat little running back?

No team would be good without good players. What’s your point?

A lot of coaches have been considered geniuses because of the performance of a key player or two. Eight years ago Bill Belichick was considered one of the greatest NFL coaches of all time, until Tom Brady left. People thought Joe Brady was a savant, until he didn't have Joe Burrow.

I know almost nothing about Drinkwitz, so I posed the question, how much of his success is due to Ahmad Hardy? When Missouri loses a few key players like Hardy, will Drinkwitz go back to middling success?

Makes too much money for a lower tier job and hasn't had enough success to get a higher tier job.

He's a better coach than this board gives him credit for but I just can't fathom paying him the kind of money it would take to get him here

Seeing as how 85% of the posters here are extra-chromosomal coonasses, downvotes are badges of honor and are added to a posters IQ. Mango is a genius when it comes to LSU fans.

He’s got a better record in the SEC than LSU has in the last few years.
