They’re gonna struggle to get there as the ACC falls further behind the Big Ten and SEC… they might be a one bid conference if not nuked entirely by the end of that timeframe

Yeah, I agree it was a solid hire by VT. But means nothing about their competitiveness moving forward. You gotta get the players and with everyone able to pay it’s gonna be harder to lure kids to a middle of nowhere ACC school.

Tech's best finish was the year they were to play Miami at home and a hell of a lightning storm caused the cancellation of the game and got the team much higher rank than if Miami (having a very good year) had schooled them.. Corso was there and his rental car was struck by lightning.
