After hearing some buzz on this coach I decided to do a deep dive to scout him as a potential coach for LSU next year. Unfortunately, after doing so I cannot endorse him for the job.

Thanks,

the political diversity of hiring a tulane coach would be too much.

I’m not sure why he is such a hot commodity when he wasn’t the one that built the Tulane program up

Because he turned around a Troy program in very bad shape and won 11 games. Then he took over Tulane and has built on what Willie Fritz did there. I don't think he should be in the top 3 or 4, but he's in that next group.

You would be very lucky to hire sumrall, he would have you back at the top of college football within two years, he's a saban clone who wins every where he's been and doesn't take shite from anyone.
If he goes to auburn, they will be top ten in two years. He is a home run hire , but you guys are too dumb to realize it.

Why go to Tulare from UAB. That’s a step down.

He's not ready for LSU, but this is false. Tulane lost 60 players in the portal when Fritz left. They were in worse shape than LSU when Orgeron left LSU. Started a true freshman quarterback and went 9-5.

I want to know why he is always coughing on the sidelines. Does he have TB like Doc Holiday?

If we hire him, how many good years does he really have until he keels over?

Is his favorite movie Tombstone? Does he eat Huckle Berry pie a lot?

I don't know if he is a home run hire, but he would be a very solid hire. I like him
