Seems very minimal.

Talked with a booster this morning and he assured me there was conversations with their “must keep” (Lamar brown, Trenton Henderson, Jabari Mack, Richard Anderson) guys before making the move

Obviously your biggest worry is your out of state guys but I’m starting to believe there will be minimal damage done here.

I’ll update you all as soon as I hear more I have dinner in BR tonight

Those kids didn't commit to play for BK, they committed because of LSU and $$$. I dont think there was a single player who actually liked BK, and its all starting to come out

In a strange twist of events, NIL might actually be helpful keeping recruits during coaching changes

One of the perks of having a head coach that was largely hands off in recruiting.

I believe this will actually help us in recruiting. We missed out on a lot of guys probably because Kelly was so unlikable.

Bk never recruited so his impact was non existent. The more I think about BKs coaching style the more I really believe the LSU job is one of the best in the country. To be that detached and still win games and recruit well says a ton about our program.

Probably helps with everyone honestly. BK wasnt liked and Im sure there was some hesitation playing for him.

To be honest, whatever coach that gets the job would be pretty retarded to get rid of frank or Corey, so i think we're probably good with Pickett and Harlem.

I think you all will keep your top guys but OOS guys are more at risk.

Lafayette, for example, is being recruited hard for a flip by Miami and a couple other schools.

BK's biggest flaw was he came here assuming LSU just "recruited itself". That is he didn't have to have a lot of guys with deep LA connections on staff and really work to recruit top LA players. He assumed all great LA players simply attended LSU as a matter of course, so he could have a staff with a national outreach (like ND had) to supplement the LA players who were already "in the bag".

It took about 2-3 years for him to realize that even though LSU has some built in advantages many place don't, you still have to work to maintain them. That's why you saw guys with LSU/LA ties be brought back to the staff after initially being considered dispensable

This part sounds like BS to me. You mean to tell me with how crazy and how fast everything went down, that they took the time out to call the recruits and check in with them first? Not only that, you don't make coaching moves based off what recruits will or won't do, as we saw with Underwood/Sloan. There are numerous reports that Sunday morning everything was business as usual with recruiting, as far as coaches contacting recruits, etc etc and then everything came out of left field and a short time later, BK was fired.

Now, if you want to tell me that they called the recruits afterwards to check in with them, I could believe that.

MS OL predicted to flip

SI had an article come out about Byson Cooley, they are predicting a flip to MS State soon. He is our best OL in this class imo.

You dont like Martinez? Seems like the perfect tackle specimen. And id expect if we lose kids, it'll be out of state ones.
