Thought it was going to be storming all day. Looks like it’s done.

Imagine keeping your job and being this bad.

Climate change has caused weather conditions and patterns to become increasingly unpredictable.

Oh man...never base your plans on those fricks. At this point they aren't trying to be accurate they are trying to win the social media click war...which you do by causing the biggest sensationalized panic.

Heard all week total washout here in N Louisiana... rolled by eyes, ignored it and took my family down to the cabin anyway... Saturday we were on the water by 10 am...grilled some lunch outside etc.... dodnt hear the next rain till I was dozing off on the couch

Every time I read something like this, I laugh. These people predict the future, and most of the time, they are pretty damn good at it.

Drama sells.

The locals don’t forecast. They just say what you could read from the app. Throw in a little flair and drama. Walla! Thunder sherwards!

I don’t know who yall watch but Zach Fradella on Fox 8 New Orleans pretty much nailed this.

Said it would be a wet morning and by late morning you’d be able to get back to your Sunday.

What was your source that said it would storm for the entire day?

What did they specifically say in their forecast to indicate that the storms would last the entire day?

You’re painting with a really broad brush. Looking at the NWS New Orleans forecast for the area, they forecast rain/storms early in the day with gradual clearing as the day progresses.

That's the problem with all these goobers that whine about the forecasts constantly.
They rely on their generic "app" to tell them what the weather will be like at 2:17 PM on November 9th two weeks out. Then when it doesn't happen, they get to rage post about it.

That energy would be much better spent by typing in "www.nws.gov" and going to the local forecast by local meteorologists who get paid to accurately inform the public instead of competing for clicks.
