Troop NOLA (LSP) seize stolen ATVs, guns, and arrest 5 in New Orleans

According to Troop NOLA, troopers increased their presence in the city to provide extra support during the second night of the NBA YoungBoy concert. While patrolling downtown, they spotted several ATVs, dirt bikes and motorcycles allegedly driving recklessly through the streets.
When the riders fled, troopers later located the group near North Claiborne and Columbus Street, where five people were arrested, authorities said.
In total, troopers seized four ATVs, two dirt bikes, one motorcycle, and three firearms. According to the state police, two of the ATVs were reported stolen.
“Persistent policing leads to productive results,” the agency said in a statement.

Yet, the future mayor does not see the need for outside help (NG), citing an "unprecedented reduction in crime". This is reduction is due to the implementation of an outside agency (LSP) standing up a dedicated task force in the city.
