It's the ultimate, personal admission that you are aging.
But at least I can read the text without squinting. Turning 45 is not fun.

I thought running to the OT to tell everyone you changed the text on your phone was

I can't read anything without "readers".
It sucks

Yes, wearing glasses after a lifetime of perfect vision sucks, but no way i am making my phone font that big. My glasses make my phone readable.

I approve of people doing this. It makes it easier to read their personal text over their shoulder.

Ive worn glasses and contacts since i was a kid.. now in my mid 40s, im getting the old people presbyopia thing.. luckily there are contact lenses for that, which i have recently acquired.. as well as glasses with ‘progressive’ lenses ( nothing to do with politics, it’s just what they’re called).. Thanks to modern technology, losing your close-up vision isnt such a big deal .

I've been ridiculed for my font size by young punks.
Getting old is not a privilege afforded to everyone, so don't sweat it.

Wait until the LATE 60's...It's not like the early 60's!

In your 50s you'll take pictures of small print on labels so you can enlarge it on your phone.

I’ve done this at 45. Started for real at about 41. My contacts are to see at a distance and that is great but up close can be a challenge. I didn’t get a change in them to where up close reading is better, but my friends readers definitely work better.

I'm glad to still have 20/10 vision. I test often but i do notice small print slightly harder to see. I'll be 45 in a few months.

Mine can't get any bigger and I still have trouble reading it sometimes...

I like the high contrast mode on Samsung/android phones. It is what allowed me to have "dark mode" on TD years before the Apple crowd. It basically implements dark mode across all of the internet and makes reading much easier.

42 here... must use readers for phone and iPad most of the time. There's worse things in life.

I have the multi focal contacts and still struggle to read expiration dates on food items. So, I've just adopted the sight and smell test. If it looks good and doesn't smell, then it must still be good... Pretty much what I've done my whole life, but my wife is an expiration date person...
