Reports of armed conflict between Hamas and various Palestinian groups.
Some of the more famous Palestinian propagandists have been gunned down by Hamas and at least 27 Hamas terrorists have been killed by Palestinians today.
Its early and theres no telling how bloody this will get, but it could be a sign that the Palestinians are through with Hamas.

What a slippery slope into a sticky situation this presents. Do you arm/train/fund the people who want to rise up against Hamas?

If those people want to kill and rape each other all day - then let them. It's not our fricking problem
If NYC wants to elect a fricking Commie then let them. It's not the rest of the country's fricking problem
We can only help people so much

These people aren't happy unless they are killing somebody.

No, because you can guarantee whatever comes after Hamas will be even worse. Like Chicago replacing Beetlejuice with the moron that is now mayor.

Not sure the Ken Watanabe meme has ever been more appropriate

They always will. Ignore and marginalize them.

I want to agree... but if DC is our capitol, then NYC is our shadow capitol- I think them falling to marxist BS will become our problem quicker that we can imagine.

No. We might share a brief common interest but a shared hatred of Hamas doesn't make us friends.

The strip is 6 miles wide and 25 miles long.
Just line up about 400 dozers and push it all in the ocean, then rebuild.

I'd read somewhere this fighting was between different "factions" fighting for control of different parts of Gaza now that Hamas is weakened.
I doubt these factions are much different from Hamas.
The indoctrination of Palestinians begins at elementary school levels. The brainwashing into hating Jews and infidels is deep seated.

Not the first time
Hamas won the Palestinian legislative elections in January 2006. They secured 74 out of 132 seats in the Palestinian Legislative Council, defeating the long-dominant Fatah party.
Following the election, tensions between Hamas and Fatah escalated dramatically. The situation deteriorated into armed conflict, culminating in June 2007 when Hamas forcibly took control of the Gaza Strip. During this takeover:
• Hamas and Fatah engaged in violent clashes in Gaza
• Hamas fighters killed Fatah members and security personnel
• Reports documented executions, with some Fatah members thrown from buildings
• Hamas consolidated complete control over Gaza, while Fatah retained control of the West Bank

My initial reaction is always to agree with this sentiment.
Then, I think about how Marxism works. It’s never contained / limited. Once it gains a toehold somewhere, it has what it needs to spread. It’s like a cancer.
Eventually, you’ll have to make a stand when it comes to your own doorstep someday. Because it will.
