Former Georgia Bulldogs Matthew Stafford capped a huge 2025 season by winning the NFL MVP this week.

Stafford led the NFL with 4,707 passing yards and 46 touchdown passes, while throwing just 8 interceptions, powering the Rams to a 12–5 record and a deep playoff run.

Stafford is now the third former Bulldog to win the prestigious award, along with Terrell Davis, who won it with the Denver Broncos in 1998, and Fran Tarkenton, who won it with the Minnesota Vikings in 1975.
