Jumper on MS River bridge in BR?

Wife (no pics) texted me and said interstate is closed, jumper on bridge. I don't see it anywhere in the news or on social media, all I see is a wreck on google maps. I know the OT would know whats going on, right?

It’s not like you can park somewhere nearby and walk up there.
This person had to have come to a stop and got out blocking a lane with their vehicle.

So they are calling it an incident, not an accident. Our daughters dance studio gets alerts and the message they sent out was it was a jumper and interstate closed. Glad they at least got the 2 lanes open.

Its getting a little ridiculous with news headlines and updates using words like "incidents". Its like they want to treat grown arse adults like children. If its a suicide, say its a fricking suicide, if its a shooter say its a fricking shooter, if its an accident say its a fricking accident. The general public and grown adults deserve details and actual information.

I remember when the PETA fanatics climbed up in the superstructure and chained themselves to the bridge while hanging a big banner. Shut down the entire bridge. They should have thrown those frickers off the bridge into the river.

It only takes about four seconds between jump and water, according to Sleater-Kinney, so traffic should be moving soon,
