This fella made himself to appear quite small and spiteful over $800.00?

What a douche, no matter his beef, he should have tried to be the better person.

People don't have to accept coins in payment of debts. Despite them being legal tender, nothing in the law mandates that a person or business accept a particular form of payment. Some don't take pennies, bills over $20, or don't even take cash/coins at all.

But there's always some a-hole who thinks he's the first to think of this stunt, and then he shows that he's an a-hole by doing it.

His child/children will be so proud. "That's my dad!"

She did not have to accept it. All he had to do was remit it.

Was it a crappy thing to do? Yeah but years of putting up with an ex spouse's shite can make crappy stuff.

They gave it away, proving the money was not needed. The man said it was 18 years of frustrations, ended.

It’s Inside Edition, of course they’re not going to tell the whole story. But yeah, $800 is basically a car note.

After I typed that I got to thinking, frick, it’s true how expensive cars had gotten. My first car note was $408 a month, and that was a three year loan.

No …, a person could prefer payment a certain way doesn’t mean that they could refuse legal tender… it’s a court case against the IRS that explains this

She probably put that man through the ringer and turned his kid against him to make him to do that. Tired of this glorification of single mothers and how they're always the victims.

It’s not always a crazy ex- sometimes the dude is just a POS.

I had a contractor come sit in my office, “Hey man, all you white boys know how to beat taxes….how you beat the child support people?”

Come to find out, guy has a special needs daughter in Florida, he admits to it. But he’s got his life together now and “don’t want no trifiling arse hoe” to know that he’s been relatively successful in Louisiana.

That was the last time he did work for me.
