I fell asleep at 9:30, and played thunderstorms fairly loud to help my dogs sleep, and me.

At least until 10:30. Expect more tonight. I was surprised it went on that late bc it isn’t NYE. And last year, the 4th was kind of quiet. Made up for it this year.

I went to bed at 10ish and most of the loud stuff was distant. The kids in my neighborhood were likely at their other parents' house or somewhere else.
10 years ago, it was like a war zone and sometimes you may hear someone empty a 9 round mag down on Candy Lane.

Went to sleep around 1 and they were still popping a few. Hoping for more tonite.
