The most ridiculous part is that Schnall said “I would expect some poise and self control” from the umpires in the national championship game.

Coach how about you take your own advice?

It’s like he thinks he has the right to throw a temper tantrum and everyone should have to put up with it. He basically called himself a child.

We are spoiled with Jay. That guy is a moron.

I would be embarrassed to be a coastal fan today.

You know the saying “it’s not what you say it’s how you say it”? It was made for this coach, lol. His demeanor is terrible.

Between this and the airing out of Sully after the regional, he's forfeited any chance at a bigger job.

fair to say the moment was too big for him and his team. Thats why they are going home as the first losers.

What retard throws a fit over balls and strikes in the first inning of a championship game

He also misrepresented what actually happened, claiming he was only shewed away. He was warned two or three times to stay where he was. Maybe he didn’t hear it because of the crowd and his own yelling.

Nah. It was him saying "I am am grown arse man" that got me.

Bitch please, you're the definition of a man child.

Yeah he got so upset that he was "shooed away." Yet one day earlier, the same thing happened to Jay. Jay said ok and dropped it.

I am a lover of Jay Johnson, the fact that these two are friends is odd to me. They are 180 degrees apart, can you imagine this jerk on the recruiting trail?

The best part was him talking about their team motto “own it” and did the complete opposite

the dumbest part is 2 of the 3 he said were bad calls were in top of the first....the 3rd one was a perfect pitch on a stolen base. to get that worked up when none of them had any impact is crazy.

The fact that he was an assistant for 25 years tells you that he may be just an a-hole

No kidding, he was just a buffoon. I can watch TN play and not care for their antics, but Vitello comes off as pretty likeable to me for some odd reason. But this guy just rubbed me the wrong way. His posture, his appearance, his cadence, his lack of awareness. All off putting.

The irony. He even admitted, "the ump told me, i was warned for arguing balls and strikes, at that point i said, you missed 3, and i was ejected" followed by "i would expect some poise and self control from the umps"???

This dude is such a trash clown. The sunbelt may let you treat college baseball like travel ball, but the SEC and Omaha treats it with respect. There is a reason that college baseball isn't full of the all out brawls like basketball or football. Not sure why we want to trash up baseball because some douche with a lift kit on the front of this truck gets tossed for being a douche.

Is he going to own the assault he made when he pushed the ump to the ground?

He knew enough to act out of desperation by throwing a fit. His team was overmatched and he may have attempted to give his team a boost by getting run out. They got by all season with the hit by pitch advantage. Chicken shite baseball tactics. Anderson and Eyanson slammed the door. He saw the writing on the wall. By the end of the first inning, the pressure overwhelmed him and it was obvious.
The one ref that fell wasn’t the coaches fault, he tripped. But according to reports he was throwing out F-Bombs and yelling about the pitch count. When you criticize the ump in a physically aggressive manner you get what you deserve.

IMO, the plan was to try to get in LSU's head with distracting extracurriculars similar to what they did to UF in the regional. Disrespecting LSU in the preseries presser. Schnall’s McEnroe "YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!" moment. Morrison mouthing at the Tiger's 3rd Base Coach. Their 1st Base Coach yacking, etc. All played to that.

It ended up backfiring.
