Why do women complain to their men?

What is the strategy here? When someone comes to a man with a problem, we assume they are looking for a solution. But this is not something the woman is looking for.
Woman unloads/vents a laundry list of frustrations about their day or how they are feeling.
Example: Woman: “My stomach has been hurting and I don’t feel well, whenever I eat X I don’t feel well.
Man’s response: “ Have you considered not eating that food”?
Woman: As all hell breaks loose “You don’t get it!!!, you think you are so smart! My friends and Mom are easier to talk to”

All you really have to do is say some version of "That Sucks" and that will appease them 95% of the time

Not their fault. Women are prone to getting their vaginas steamed, and although their vaginas may be pristine afterwards, the steaming process is painful and they get cranky af.

If this scenario is real, it's because the "man" answer is one of an Autist. Not everything is that literal.
Lots of people have stomach issues over foods they actually like to eat. They are aware they shouldn't eat those foods. It's an insulting response.

I hear them carry on personal phone conversations on their commutes into work before 0600 (in the parking garage, I can hear their continuing conversations.) Men won't talk to anyone until they get coffee and take a shite. Women are different.

At the end of the day, just shut up and listen and hope it is short and sweet. They say you are sorry and you understand it frustrates her. Oh, you also hope it doesn't happen again. Then move on.
