Fresh Market sells Klement’s all beef hot dogs, those are the only ones that I buy now.

Kirkland brand Beef Dinner 1/4 lb hotdogs in the blue package from Costco. Same ones they sell in the food court. Comes 14 to a pack. They also sell a red package of polish hot dogs that are smaller but a different recipe.

Hebrew National or Nathan’s.

Hebrew is 7 dogs instead of 8.

Those are usually the only two brands I buy.

The Kirkland ones in the blue are real beefy and good. Never tries the red ones.

If you have a Publix, try Hofmanns or Sahlens. Both have natural casings. My go-to brands.

I don't particularly care for hot dogs but the wife likes them and will only buy Nathan's.

A grilled dog, some of my homemade chili and a bit of shredded cheese on top-----and this is where it gets weird for me--------mayo instead of mustard is how she eats them.

IF, and that's a big IF, I decide to eat a hot dog, it's also grilled, chili, relish and mustard on top,

Also in on this thread. My in-laws always buy some brand and the hot dogs are red. Like they have been dipped in dye.

Boar's Head Uncured is the best widely available one I've found.

The long one has the natural casing if you like that snap. I'm not sure but I think the normal bun length ones are not natural casing.

Edit - this review is what made me try them. Around the same time, I saw another site that ranked them best.

If you live near a Kroger or you find yourself in the vicinity of one, their brand of beef brisket hot dogs are really flavorful. Someone brought them to a party and then gifted us with some and we try to buy them when we're around one and stock the freezer.

I use mayo on mine, as well as mustard. Been doing it since 1978 when I worked fast food in HS, someone ordered theirs with mayo so I tried one.
