What classes do you take at the gym?

I’m just getting back into going to the gym and been going pretty hard.
I used to take a lot of spin classes and have taken one or two now. They’re not as good as at my previous gym but still good cardio for me and get the sweat running.
For the rest of the classes, I have no real bearing. It seems like most of the classes are “chick” classes. Those classes would still kick my butt to be fair. I’m just not sure where I should expand next in term of the usual gym class offerings (suggest whatever you like and I can see if they have an equivalent)

I’m roughly one-third weight room, sports, and classes (each).
For classes, I average about 2/week and rotate between the following:
Barbell Strength
Ultra Fit (gradually works up to an all out sprint on treadmill with balance & body weight floor mixed in)
Heated Yoga (some with HIIT components)
Strictly Strength (full body dumbbell workout)
Then Spin, GTX, or other classes once in a blue moon.
One great thing about classes is they are no extra cost at gym but you get constant tips on form.

the starting strength class...its crazy...we lift heavy arse shite up and put it down 5 times, rest 3 min and repeat 2 more times.
we do it 3 days a week, 3 exercises per and we add 5lbs each class.

I do one of the yoga classes 1x per week. I also do yoga at home in the morning and on weekends.

The only gym class I've ever taken was before Katrina when I worked out at Franco's on Robert E Lee in New Orleans.
It was a boxing class, and I enjoyed the hell out of it.
Then Katrina destroyed the area.

Go do Jiu jitsu twice a week with free weights and cardio mixed in the other days. Throw in a pool session too if you have one available.

We've got a boxing gym right down the street that I joined 4 months ago. Been hitting it 3x a week, 6 AM. Love it.
Rode my bike there the first 2-3 classes and gave that up quickly

I take spin and Pilates. Lift on my own 3 days a week.
With all the recent hype/research on strength and longevity, most gyms have some kind of starting strength class as well.

Spin when I need to lean up, which is most times these days.
Looking at beginner yoga.

Many years ago I did a cardio kickboxing class a handful of times at a gym in McComb, MS.
One day I walked in the gym to do the class before working out and there were people looking and whispering. A minute or so later I saw Brian Spears. I had known him for years and asked what's up?
He said that he and Britney were there to do the class. She gets right behind me. During the class there was a move where you step back real fast and kick. I went to do the kick, looked up just in time, and she didn't step back.
I was able to see her in time not to do the kick or I would have kicked the crap out her. I could've been infamous.

Maybe you’d have kicked some sense into her?

I do the spin class. I don’t pedal that hard, just get in the back row to look at butts.

I don't really like classes. They don't tend to be structured to provided periodization or progression. They're designed to make you feel like a good workout. It's better than nothing, but just working out for the sake of getting tired or breaking a sweat doesn't produce progress.
If the classes were designed to yield results, people would go once and say "that was simple, I can do that on my own". Imagine a Greyskull class--there would be no point because it is so straightforward; any idiot can do it. But a siple LP yields much better results than the fricking around in most classes that are intense solely for the purpose of being intense.

I like Les Mills BodyPump classes.

Because classes are social and communal which is a good thing. And not everything has to be designed around min/maxing.
