This time of year, they have on special Crawfish 7 Ways.
That said, this is awesome too.
They have the best onion rings.

I remember back in the day I used to get the broiled seafood platter and that the shrimp/fish fillet were always overcooked. I hope that's not still the case.

Haven't been in years, but used to get the shrimp 5 ways (or 7 ways maybe).

Their crabmeat au gratin is not to be fricked with.
I can only imagine how great the crawfish au gratin is as well.

I've actually never eaten at Mike Anderson's before. However, after reading this thread, I've decided next time I'm in the BR/Gonzales area for work, I'm eating dinner there.
Either the broiled or fried seafood platter, with a cup of seafood gumbo and an old fashioned.

Last time my friend and I got it, we weren't impressed either. A lot was overcooked. It has such potential, though! Hoping I just got it on an off day that time.
Honestly, it's a place I hadn't been in years, but went a couple times in the last year.
The onion rings and stuffed potato aren't entrees, but they do both so well. If you get a side salad, their remoulade dressing is one of the best in the city. Really punchy.
Otherwise, this thing is pretty good:

They are getting different oysters in last couple months at PVille location (maybe the others too) and they are some of the best I've ever had.
