It was only $38 billion guys. Less than 1% of the budget. Why do you even care?

If tweet fails to load, click here. Gonna try this with the IRS. "Guys my taxed dollars account for less than a fractional percent of 1% of the federal budget. How much do my measly dollars mean to you really? why do you care so much?"

Nancy New should point out that she stole only a tiny fraction of the state budget.

Why did Congress approve all these grants? Did he really ask that question? Hahahahahahahaha

If you need any more proof that slowflopro is full of it, this was his defense of USAID last week.

These Democrats were suddenly fiscally conservative and apoplectic over $4 billion "wasted" for a border wall.
They are disingenuous pieces of shite.

The 2023 state of louisiana budget was $43b. THis just goes to show that if we are talking like "no big deal, its a small %" of mostly wasted money then we need to look at the overall budget and slash it down, way down

USAID’s spending in 2023 was $38 billion — less than 1% of the federal budget
And here is the problem. If 38B is less than 1% of total budget we are fricking doomed.

Why do you guys even acknowledge that clown. He just makes all those irrational comments.Just to keep post counts up on this board. I wouldn't doubt if he's paid by someone who has interest in the post count...

Turn it around on them. If it’s less than 1% and that amount is so small that no one should care about it being spent, then it is equally that no one should care if it’s not spent.

How many expenditures are greater than 1% of the budget. The way politicians run the country, it's like death by a thousand cuts. You gotta start somewhere. And USAID isn't the only budget cut DOGE is exploring, but the amount of backlash is telling that it's a large abuse of taxpayer money.

Add them all together and what do you get?
USAID was just the initial find because they were so blatant in their fraud.

USAID wasn’t about the money savings. It’s about control of unchecked spending and unchecked power. The money was an excuse to take control

So by their logic, wasteful spending is not still wasteful spending because it's 1%?

simplest answer
you break bad habits with the first step, the most obvious and easiest first step
we have wasted taxpayers' money and grown our debt for far too long.
For our future and National security, we must change our bad habits.
And for our allies overseas it's best to let them know emphatically and early that changes are about to be made
