Mine is to stop jacking off 3 times a day. Twice should be plenty.

What do you hope to achieve?

My consistency working out has been good the past few years.

This year my goal is to pick up the intensity.. too many workouts I’m not even sweating by the end of it. Or I’ll get caught in a 20 minute conversation with whoever I’m working out with.

Basically, stick to rest times and push myself during sets.

Chasing a 3 plate bench and a 4 plate squat and dl. I’ll be super happy if I can get there this year, but as long as I’m seeing consistent growth and progress I’ll also be happy.

Keep working on metabolic and cardiovascular health.

Have to get gynecomastia gland removal surgery. Wasn't noticeable when I was 265-270 pounds of muscle now that I am 215-218 its noticeable. Not a bad case consultations I have had the surgeons rated it a '4' out of 10 scale but I want them gone as I will eventually do trt in the future when its time.

Dreading this as its going to wreck my training schedule for 4 to 6 weeks and set me back significantly.

Run a marathon. Have completed 3 half marathons. It’s time to move up to the big leagues. Would love to qualify for Boston but doubt that’s achievable for me personally in 2025.

I set out in 2024 to do some sort of activity every day. I managed 306 days, so 60 rest days. Some of those were when we were out of town, and I didn't log a workout but was probably active doing something. Others were much needed rest days. Not bad considering, averaging 10/12 days exercising.

Resolution is to get the nutrition under control again. Between Halloween and Christmas is hard to stay on track 100% of the time. I've got a week long field trip with one of my boys coming up in 2 months, and we will be doing a ton of walking. Probably won't be able to do much in the way of true exercise that week, but should be able to hit it pretty hard every day between now and then.

Try to keep lifting 4 days a week (have been doing this well for 10 months).

Try to cut back on calories. Need to lose weight as opposed to only building muscle.

Keep eating high protein.

Find more time to walk (very difficult given work and lifting).

I wake up 30 minutes early and walk around the neighborhood with a weighted vest on for those said 30 minutes.

It helps me get the blood flowing and also allows me time to square away my daily tasks so I'm organized once I get to work.

It also keeps people from seeing me walk around the neighborhood like a lunatic with what appears to be a bullet proof vest.

Why not a 600 pound dead at 200?

That was my goal in 2016 when I was doing a bunch of BJJ tournaments. Back then I tried to stay around 210 and would cut weight to sub 200 for tournaments since that was the usual cutoff to pretty much unlimited. I had been doing deads pretty heavy for a while but never really messed with going much past 545. Finally I said that frick it and was gonna try to do a triple body weight dead and after about 7 months I pulled it.

It always starts great in August/September when you’re just eating more clean protein and rice/veggies.

Then the holidays come and it’s like, wellll shite

I want to actually hit 800 pounds in the three big lifts combined. I deadlifted 320 the other day, benched 225 7 times in a row, and squatted 225 three times. I'm just a big wuss that doesn't want to actually max anymore.

I also want to drop down to 185-200, whatever feels best.

Last, I want to be able to bend over and touch my toes. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to do that, as my psoriasis doctor inferred lower back stiffness is a byproduct of psoriatic arthritis and it may never come back.
