Discovered a new low in society tonight

Went through the Taco Bell drive thru this evening and the person taking the order was automated. They asked if I wanted to use the app, which has happened before but usually a real person will come after and take the order. Not tonight. After I said I wouldn’t be using the app, the computer asked what I wanted, asked me to check the order on the screen and said to pull up.
They want more money but now they can’t even take the order.
We live in a clown world.

I have used the AI drive thru at Taco Bell as well. It took my order with me having to repeat myself and was accurate the first time. Took easily half the amount of time as a low IQ human and got my order right. I much preferred it.

I would much rather pull up, order on an iPad, swipe to pay and have the food waiting on me when I got to the window than talk to a disgruntled human being through a glorified walkie talkie.
Same goes for restaurants. I need a food delivery not a human interaction.

Once you get out of Louisiana, fast food experience is a whole lot better. In Colorado, none of the workers speak English, but I'll be God damned if they don't get your food out in under a minute.

AI, Automation, and Robotics are the future. Which makes it even more puzzling why we have imported millions of low iq third world citizens. There won’t be any jobs for these people in 15 years.

Louisiana has to be the worst. Workers that barely acknowledge your presence while taking your order, incomplete or wrong orders, and not one effing napkin in the bag. Also where is my straw?
