Not at all unfortunately, plus LSU college game day, makes it more difficult!

8.

I met my hunting buddy at LSU, and we haven't missed an open day together since. I enjoy duck hunting, but I really enjoying just hanging out with the boys!

Me and the boys will admire another a beautiful sunrise and afterwards we will laugh and carry on about how we used to wack and stack when ducks still made the trip.

Yep it was miserable for South Zone opener in Texas. It was warm but we had some birds and a decent wind. I think we ended with 17 for 4 of us but sitting there sweating in the marsh with 3.50 billion mosquitoes isn’t fun. Probably hanging up the cleats here until Thanksgiving week and heading to NE LA for that opener next weekend. Like you said, a cold front is rolling in and there is a pile of birds right now on the farm.

3. This will be the first year not at camp for opener. Bama Game and wrapping up lil SI soccer season. The crew was right when they warned me to prepare in advance for sports/outdoors for him. The first 4 years we would just pack and go, last 3 it’s been a scheduling nightmare, but We’ll be there next weekend.
With this warm weather, I’m glad I won’t have to do that Sunday morning deuce in the boat. ( squirrel stew and cabbage), lol.

Heading to Creole and supposedly they have birds so I’m at a 9. It would be a 10 if it was cold. I love this shite

My dad and his buddies will be in Hollybeach tomorrow.
Supposedly birds everywhere, but also water is high high.
They limit out with a quickness every opening weekend.

Doesn’t sound very promising in gaydon? Area. Had a last minute cancellation for this weekend earlier this week and 4 guys that hunt that area booked it to hunt some migrators with me this weekend. Said weather is hot and stale as frick and not much for ducks/geese.

Good luck to all of you guys though.

I'd be an 11 if I could hunt this weekend. We've got 3 more weeks to wait in the Land Mass.

I’m at a 8.5. I haven’t miss an opener in many many years. Like always me and the ole man will be sharing a blind like we always do!

10 just because it’s opening weekend of duck season. With that being said, not expecting to kill much.
