What do you shoot there? Mottleds, blue wings and the occasional whistling duck? If so, maybe just go to Terrebonne and avoid the snakes

I’m at 47k miles in my current ridge grapplers with another 7-10k miles left in them. I love them.

However, I’ve thought about the ko3’s to change it up as a comparison.
On redfish, you can put your finger right behind the pectoral fin. Super easy push. They’ll bleed right out. If you compare them side to side the meat is a little less bloody on ones that you don’t do it to.
20ga 3” #4’s for big ducks and geese.

#5’s in teal season

I switched to an A300 20 gauge 3 years ago and haven’t looked back. I absolutely hate shooting a 12 now

This happened to me when I lived in Nicholson Lakes and I cleaned a deer on the tailgate of my truck. In spite, I plucked a bunch of ducks on a windy day and then moved out of my rent house.

Just send it dawg, maybe hang one up overnight

If specks is your goal, Oklahoma may not be the place. There’s plenty of specks there but they’re often wrapped up with big bunches of little geese. I’m not saying you won’t kill a handful here and there but it’s a tougher place to target specks specifically
I’ve got a 256 and love it. Not many better riding boats in that category. Pathfinder also makes a fine rig.

It’s hard to put it in the same category as some of the other mentions. American, Costa etc.

I went by there last weekend. I’ve always thought of it that way. Now that you say it and I think about it, you may be right
