Is GTHOM still a thing?

Back in MY day (70's -80's) you would hear "Go To Hell Ole Miss" everywhere at any time, even regardless of the opponent. It was common to be walking up or down the ramps in Tiger Stadium, before or after any game, someone would start it, others would pick it up, and soon it was echoing across the pantheon of concrete and steel. The relative records didn't matter, it was always appropriate. I heard Go to Hell LSU in isolated pockets the last (only) time I went to Oxford in 2021, so I don't know if it's reciprocal. For the actual Ole Miss games, whenever they would come out of their tunnel into Tiger Stadium, "Go To Hell Ole Miss" would be much more prominent than the boos and the "Tiger Baits" (except for Big Red.) Does anybody else remember this? Can/should it be revived? Or is this another tradition that has gone the way of Mike's circuit, freshman beanies, and "Doctor...Number 359...please call...Medical Exchange"?

I've heard it probably every time after the teams get on the field, similar to when Bama would come and you would hear "frick you Saban"

This is the type of stuff losing programs do that are jealous of a better program. Like Texas A&M to Texas or Maryland basketball to Duke.
We are now a better program than Ole Miss so we don’t do that shite anymore.

so i can understand what youre saying, but it feels like Alabama fans and rushing the field. they are so stuck up their arse about how fans should "act like youve been there" and all the memes of "Bryant Denney after beating a top 5 team" and its just an empty field. people like that are miserable to be around. it's a superiority complex that annoys the frick out of most people.

No, Go to Hell Ole Miss has been a tradition at least as far back as the 70's. They say go to hell LSU.

Stupid take. Did this sound good in your head?

We used to chant "Go to Hell. Ole Miss! Go to hell!" every time we entered the stadium after playing the Pre-Game salute outside when I was in Tiger Band in the 80s. Didn't matter who the hell our opponent was for the game that night, the chant was always the same. It was usually started by Jerry Brumfield (one of the trumpet players) and pretty soon it had spread through the band and the northwest section of the stadium under the stands as we came in.

Damn I got downvoted to hell
I’m not bashing tradition I’m just speaking the truth. You think LSU is the only fanbase to do something like this? Name one superior program that does this to a program that is historically inferior to it?

Do you think Ole Miss was a better program than LSU in the 70s & 80s?
LSU was 15-4-1 vs Ole Miss from 1970 to 1989. In the last twenty years, Ole Miss has beaten LSU 6 times. The relative programs were also much further apart.
1970-1989
LSU 149-79-8 (70-45-5)
Ole Miss 108-111-4 (53-741`)
Last 20
LSU 194-65 (111-52)
Ole Miss 126-119 (61-100)

No which is why the tradition of cussing Ole Miss even when we aren’t playing them has faded away. I still hear and say GTHOM when we are playing them.

Are you serious? Alabama fans chant, after every win, “we just beat the hell out of you”…they’ve been doing it since the early to mid 90s. Had they eeeked out a 2 point win over nightly Vandy Saturday, they would have done it then.
