Current Pocket knife (Kershaw Emerson):
Truck knife:
New pocket knife thinking about upgrading to, maybe for Christmas:
Bench made mini crooked river:
Only time I’m without it is at a concert venue with metal detectors or when flying.

Are you bastards about to twist my arm into buying a pocket knife? Gotta hold off the impulse.
Is this Benchmade Griptilian a good knife/deal.

I have a knife, pen, Leatherman, and light on me most times.

I've carried a pocket knife pretty much every day my entire adult life. I check them in my bags when I fly.
I have my EDC button flipper for most days.
I have a Godfather automatic for days when I have to wear nicer clothes and attend meetings or whatever.
I have a smaller pen knife, my Sunday go to Church knife, for days when I wear suits.
I've always got a pocket knife and I keep them razor sharp.
Most men I know carry pocket knives. Even some young enough to be my Sons or Grandsons. It's probably more about the circles you run in .... and I cannot imagine working for a place that forbids pocket knives.

I still carry one daily but it’s definitely frowned upon here in Europe. My coworker freaked out a little when I pulled my knife out at work one day.
There was a box that needed cutting at work, and I whipped out my knife, you'd think a bomb blew.

I think it’s a lost art. I would put it at 1 out 10 of every person under the age of 30 carries a pocket knife. At least that’s what I have encountered.
I’ve loved knives since I was 5 and became a knife nut to which the last time I counted I own 603 now. I don’t use all of them. But I always have one on me.

Tough opening a package from Amazon, or cutting a dangling thread on your wife's dress, or opening a letter, or cleaning your fingernails ... with a pistol or rifle or SMG or whatever "gun" you're referring-to.

Can’t go wrong with benchmade and that is a good deal.

I've never once carried a pocket knife going about day to day activities. This must be an old boomer thing because there really is no point

My wife and I are outdoorsy-lite types, but we camp and fish. At one point in our lives we were both working retail, and it was way easier to rely on our own blades over the cheap crap work gave us.

Always carry a knife. It’s great just to have to cut shite when needed but my BJJ instructor is an old school guy so we train knife fighting a lot. It really improves hand speed. I am now at the point that if I am at the range to get to you with my knife, I’m not even thinking about my CCW or yours because you will literally look like you just left a Japanese steakhouse if the shite goes down.

I still carry one, albeit an auto, on a clip on my right front pocket. Younger guys don’t care to have anything else in their pockets other than a cell phone and their car keys it seems.

Any man who doesn’t carry a knife, gun and tape measure might as well chop his dick off and go play womens
I am waiting for the real women to get all the paperwork done through the court system ordering equal pay between the genders. Once women’s sports start paying better, just like Joe Namath, I will put on the pantyhose.

Approximately 35 years ago a wise man said to me ‘A man that don’t carry a pocket knife won’t wipe his butt.’

It is no coincidence that this country started going to shite when men stopped carrying pocket knives on a regular basis.
How much cutting outside of the kitchen needs to be done on a daily basis? Unless you are a blue collar worker of course.

Neither I nor you, or anyone else knows. Hence, the pocket knife.

I was blessed to be in the delivery room when my daughter was born.
They asked me if I wanted to cut the cord.
I reached for my pocket knife, but they made me use the surgical scissors.
It's like cutting a piece of rope, tbh.
