But that fact that you said what you said is all I need to see about your mindset. No he is Landry behaving like Landry. Your political blinders is what is talking.

What are you trying to say here? Not blindly supporting a Republican governor and questioning his values and beliefs tells you that I’m politically blind? Not sure what you’re trying to accomplish here.

well that certainly is an interesting opinion. It's stupid as frick, but it is an opinion nonetheless.

Ok, internet tough guy. What’s stupid about it?

You don’t think the government intervention that he’s suggesting is typically more of a professed Democrat value than a professed Republican one?

Internet tough guy, huh?

You would crumble like the blue cheese on my medium rare filet.

Everyone knows that it is the christo-fascist Republicans who try to climb into peoples bedrooms and dictate what others can and can't do.....and then ignore those rules themselves.

No your post calling him a Dem is what I said. Coleman Hughes is someone I listened to on youtube onetime when he had Razib Kahn to talk about archeology and genetics. I did not know much about him, but seemed like a rationale guy whose politics are left of center.

Well recently he made some statements about having polices that help all people who are poor and not have race based policies to help poor. If your goal is to help poor people, seemed like a pretty rationale non divisive thing to say.

Well Sunny Hostin, who is not to smart in my view, on the View TV show (pardon the pun) said he is a right-winger and a Liar. BS, Hughes from what I can tell is a Left of center guy who made a very rationale statement and the Radical left winger Hostin said he is a Right-winger.

So again, your statements are no different than the Crazy Left wingers and the behavior is very similar.

Regarding Landry, anytime someone uses Patriotism and the National anthem to beat someone over the head with and threaten someone and take their scholarship away, etc, that is the behavior of a demagogue.

And I am not fan of the modern Dems. Never voted for a Dem candidate for president and I started voting during the Reagan era. But unlike many modern Republicans, I am like the older Reagan era Conservative moment that I stay intellectually consistent. A left wing Demagogue or one from the Right are Demagogues no matter how you try to spin it.

Someone gets it. Has Landry responded why Louisiana ranks last in so many categories yet hes focused on this? Louisiana one of the few states losing residents because of poor job markets, high crime, poor education, etc...

Jeff Landry picked from the fruit of the Rush Limbaugh quote tree and decided to run with it.

I think Republicans only care about small government for things they don't want regulated. Marijuana, books, "patriotism", abortion, etc. There's a very long list of things Republicans are happy to regulate, all things they are coincidentally against.

Pretty sure they can't as it's a public institution and this would violate their free speech.

This will come back to bite us and could be used as a negative recruiting tactic.

Social media has incorrectly taught a horde of republican politicians that they can get away with doing nothing other than fighting culture wars.

The culture wars are a great invention by the 1% to prevent class wars. Now the poor guy in the trailer park has aligned his policy views of Elon Musk.
